Self-worth

Dear Ones,

It's in a way amazing how conditioned we are to believe the thoughts and stories in our heads, the stories we tell about ourselves, others and about the world. Those stories are powerful as they can either enhance our well-being or create the total opposite. And because we already live in a loving and supportive universe and everything is here for us and nothing against us, it's good to learn to question any negative statements of our mind rather than instantly buying into them. A simple question: Is this really true? can break the negative cycle, if we don't let the mind jump to a conclusion, but rather allow space and let the meditative stillness answer it for us.

One of the most common and often unconscious negative beliefs is: "I am not worthy" or "There is something wrong with me." A belief that we have to prove ourselves to the outside world and so many of us spend a lifetime trying to do that through external means like work, relationships, possessions or experiences. But that void can't be filled by anything outside of us. It is for each of us to discover that we are indeed the love of our life, the seven wonders of the world, the miracle of miracles! A pure awareness in the body, unconditionally loving, limitless, free, eternal and infinite. And that there is simply nothing to prove to ourselves and the world.

This is not an arrogant statement of the separate mind/ego believing in it's own importance. It's rather a soft gentle realisation or insight which might arrive suddenly and unexpectedly in meditation, when we are in nature or see something beautiful. It is a realisation without words and without explanation, a moment of total connection to the truth. We sense this sacred connection and oneness of all living beings we are intrinsically part of. In that moment the mind stands still and can no longer hold the veil of illusion. We see clearly and we know unequivocally both the immense value of our own existence in this time and space and the immense value of every living being...

Believe In Yourself

Dear Ones,

It's so important to believe in yourself and ground yourself in the knowing that you belong and that your unique gifts and talents matter and that expressing them and letting them flourish is not only for your own joy but also for the greatest good of the whole world community.

The new energies might require something new from each of us right now, but it's good to know that we are all resourceful and that some of those innate talents and abilities might be still hidden even to our own eyes. And this is quite exciting really, to be able to learn and discover something new about yourself, your interests, your passion and your purpose.

So if you - like many of us right now - are going through time of transition and transformation, sensing that some of the old ways of being and doing are no longer working and falling away, but not having yet an exactly clear idea what the new direction, new approach, new skill is, for now just relax into the knowing that all the answers are already within you and will reveal themselves to you.

Don't see this as a challenge, but an opportunity for a new exciting discovery. When we let go of any heaviness, become lighter and let curiosity, love and adventure lead us, we activate exactly the right energies within to step in a perfect new direction. Step by step, with no map because this is an uncharted territory we enter the unknown. Knowing that life is always on the growing edge and there is always another step to take...Are you ready?

Infinite Intelligence

Dear Ones,

conditioning makes us identify with the mind to such a degree that most of us THINK that we wouldn't be able to function without it…Through my own spiritual growth I've always loved learning about the mind. It's quite fascinating when you first realise the power of the mind and how we all create our lives through our thoughts, beliefs and feelings. Not all thoughts are creative, only those we give attention to and believe them to be true which is always accompanied by a feeling. If it's a positive thought we believe to be true we experience positive feelings such as joy, elevation, excitement and if the mind brings a negative thought and we give it attention and believe it to be true, we experience negative feelings such as worry, anger or fear. It's good to know that both of those moments are creative. We set something in motion, whether this was a conscious act like a positive affirmation or just a long term habitual act we once again repeated such as worrying…

But no matter how fascinating learning about the mind is, the greatest discovery for me was when I fully realised that ultimately I am not the mind! The identification with the body was already much weaker as I had many non-physical experiences whether in my meditations or while giving healing. The residual identification with the mind was more subtle. Maybe because I love to think…What a delight then to realise that ultimately I am this beingness, this presence, this gentle peace and joy! I can use my mind, especially for anything practical or for manifesting, but I can drop it whenever I don't need it. And I am now practicing this whenever I can, when I go for a walk, do any daily chores or any time I can. I just let go of the thoughts and drop into this vast beingness I share with everyone and everything, into this simple presence and at the same time this wonder of all wonders!

Many mystics speak about this infinite eternal part of us as Source, God, All-That-Is. And the more we allow ourselves to "be there", to allow our true nature in our everyday lives, the more the divine qualities - we all share - can come to the forefront. Qualities such as infinite love and infinite intelligence. So although the mind might try to convince us that we need it all the time, in fact true insights, higher guidance, intuition and all brilliant ideas, inventions and creative endeavours come from this infinite intelligence and can't be actually assigned to the small personal mind. And in that sense we can't even take the personal credit for them, which is not a problem for anyone who moved beyond the ego and truly understands Oneness and that we all share this Divine well of goodness.

I have to say, I am finding this truly practical! The mind can bring the idea that spiritual awakening is not practical, but don't we all want brilliant ideas, accurate inner guidance and clear knowing, whether it is for important life changing decisions or simple everyday situations such as at work or in relationships?

So if you feel inspired, take time everyday perhaps in the morning or in the evening or even better right now and just be! Drop the thoughts. If they come, let them go. In this moment you are the witness. In this moment you relax into your beingness. Are you aware? You might notice some feelings or bodily sensation and perhaps you might be aware of any background noise. But at this moment you don't engage in any commentary, which would mean engaging your mind. You can do this with your eyes open or your eyes closed. Just simply resting in your true nature. And if you feel inspired take it further, allow time for your beingness not just now but everyday.

You Are Loved Unconditionally

Dear Ones,

one of the greatest gifts of meditation and my healing work is to be able to feel the absolute unconditional love Source and the Angels have for us. No one is excluded, as this unconditional support is available for all of us, brave souls choosing to be here at this time of enormous change. And this Divine love helps us truly understand how much we all matter. Just our pure existence in this time in this space has such immense value.

And so be gentle with yourself, dearest one. Whenever you feel the need to rest, refresh, regenerate, take a step back and allow yourself to feel how much you are truly loved. Unconditionally. Just as you are right now. Allow yourself to relax deeper into the knowing that this is a loving and supportive universe and everything is happening for your highest good no matter how it looks on the surface. And although you might not have all the answers to your questions right now, just let go and let the benevolent energies of the Universe carry you forward. Choose to trust that they carry you in the right direction and everything you need to know will reveal itself in perfect divine timing and perfect ways. Choose to trust that your well-being is in the loving hands of Source.

True magic happens when we can see that everything and everyone is here for us and not against us. We then align with the highest truth and naturally experience more ease, joy, balance and harmony. Whenever we strive and struggle we are under the spell of mind and conditioning and whenever we experience effortless being we are deeply connected to our true nature, pure awareness. And the whole purpose of me writing to you today is to call you back home, to who you really are. Will you answer the call, dearest one?

Follow Your Bliss

Dear Ones,

I feel that if there is any measurement of success at all, it must be about how much joy we have in our lives. As joy is who you are at the very core of your being under all layers of conditioning and personal history, so if you have joy in your life it means you live in alignment with your true nature. And you might notice that any choice you make - and that starts with choosing your thoughts and your perspective - have the potential to either bring you closer to joy or further away from it. This is such wonderful and accurate inner guidance speaking to you all the time. So whenever you are presented with a choice, you can picture yourself accepting it and then notice how your body responds and what feelings arise. The choice which is in harmony with your true self will naturally make you feel more expanded, relaxed, inspired, joyful and happy. The choice taking you further away from your true nature will make your body feel tense, contracted, tired and depleted. The body never lies, if you just pause, listen and pay attention.

And if you truly love yourself, you listen to your body and your feelings and honour them. When people hear this for the first time, they sometimes worry that this might be a selfish way of living. But the truth is that if you can't make yourself happy, you can't truly contribute to anyone else's well-being and happiness. You simply can't skip yourself. Once you give yourself complete permission to follow your bliss, you'll experience wonderful synchronicities and countless opportunities to contribute to the happiness of all living beings. The stream of joy will carry you effortlessly. The bliss will give you wings! And you'll experience the profound wisdom of the benevolent loving universe that what is truly for your highest good is always for the highest good of all involved. So it's much simpler than the complicated scenarios of your mind might suggest.

But don't take my word for it. If you feel inspired, simply give it a go. Follow your bliss. Follow the feelings of joy, love, inspiration, excitement and see what happens… I would love to hear about your discoveries!

Acceptance and Letting Go

Dear Ones,

there is something so powerful about acceptance. At first sight it might look like giving up on something but this couldn't be further from the truth. As what you resist persists, trying to change any situation while at the same time pushing against it is futile. It becomes very clear when we watch martial arts as there is nearly an elegant, almost effortless movement to it and not pushing and pulling. To be able to move effectively in a new direction in our lives we have to be first in harmony with the natural energies of the benevolent accepting universe. Once we are at peace we are like a calm lake. And when you throw a pebble into a calm lake the ripples reach very far, whether throwing it into a stormy lake wouldn't create much movement. Your intention for the new direction is like throwing that pebble. You want to throw it into a calm lake…

Being at peace with yourself starts with allowing yourself to feel any feelings that might arise in your everyday life experience. The conditioning makes us resist situations and events in our lives by suppressing the feelings. This happens so early in life that it becomes such an automatic habit that most of us don't even realise we do it. But suppressing anything which arises naturally means resisting the nature of who we are. The feelings and emotions only represent the energy which doesn't get lost and still influences us, in this case on the unconscious level.

When we learn to welcome any feelings, even those considered as difficult such as fear, anger or guilt, we learn that this is a sure pathway to liberation and clarity. You can imagine that you are opening your arms and your heart space widely and totally embracing any feelings. You feel them fully without making more of them and then you let them go. When we welcome any feelings we are like an open blue sky, allowing the clouds to come in and leave effortlessly. And in doing so we no longer create inner conflicts, struggle or confusion. We become transparent, open minded and loving and are able to see the new opportunities and direction more clearly with no filters of any past unresolved suppressed stories…

Infinite Abundance

Dear Ones

The infinite eternal being that you really are is abundant on all levels. Right now. Always connected to all resources, all ideas and to the natural goodness and flow of life. And as we are here in these beautiful bodies we have always an option to either focus on problems, hindrances or obstacles to abundance or refocus on the highest truth that we already live in a benevolent, abundant and loving universe. What becomes our most predominant choice becomes our life experience.

When we start focusing on manifesting abundance all unconscious negative beliefs connected to abundance will come to the surface. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognise that they are not true and release them. In the process you really become aware of the content of your mind and naturally become more aware and selective to what you give attention to.

As the mainstream media and mainstream way of thinking reflect and constantly replay the conditioning of the mind, often focusing on what’s wrong, what’s missing and what needs to be fixed, one has to really make a strong decision to think for her/himself!

And it's not so very different from when you decide to cleanse your body and go on a detox, consciously refraining from certain foods and drinks. If you decide to cultivate a positive mindset, you too have to refrain from certain conversations whether it is within your own mind, with others or the entertainment you choose. As any content based in fear, lack, worry will activate the same energies within you.

But if you truly love yourself you'll naturally make healthy choices, not only for your body, but also for your mind. And it's good to be aware that the same way we can get addicted to certain foods and drinks we can also get addicted to negative feelings and thought patterns like worrying, overthinking and stress. So for your decision to change to be effective it must come from a genuine place within, from a genuine desire to change. Such a powerful decision will create the only commitment which really works, commitment of your deepest heart, commitment coming from your highest truth. And so are you ready to make such a commitment, dearest One?

Lasting Happiness

Dear Ones,

we all have been hypnotised into looking for our happiness outside us, whether it is in relationships, work, money, objects or experiences. But this way of living is very conditional and it seems that no matter how much one achieves, the promised happiness is more or less fleeting allowing just a little break before yet another objective is being chased. Like a cat chasing her own tail this doesn’t make much sense to anyone who stops and observes what’s really happening. And the one who stops and makes this realisation is now ready to awake fully and see clearly. The veil has been lifted…

To me this is truly a sacred moment…The illusion of being a separate person collapses too as the oneness of all living beings can’t be denied any longer. The gaze turns inwards and you realise that the true happiness you sought tirelessly in the world was within you all this time. It’s like you’ve been searching for the holy grail in all corners of the world and then one day found it hidden in your backyard. This must be a joke, you might laugh. Why couldn’t I see it before?

This inner happiness starts now revealing itself within you. Uncovering itself. It doesn’t seem to go away like the conditional happiness dependent on something external. It has the stability and real substance you’ve been longing for all this time. The same way as the sky above your head it is always there. Without you trying to make it happen.

You intuit that essentially you have only two choices. You can either give your attention to the clouds covering this sky - your ever changing thoughts and feelings - and eventually get caught again in the drama of life of good and bad, pleasant and unpleasant, joy and pain. Or you can refocus on “the blue sky” behind the clouds…Your pure consciousness. Your awareness. Your true nature. Your true happiness.

And it is not as mysterious as it might seem at first, because this is not the first time you encountered it. It’s always been there - when you were a child, teenager and through all your adulthood. It is your beingness. IT IS YOU! It doesn’t age. It doesn’t change. The everpresent witness of all your joy and pain. The part of you which is not touched by any life experience. The part of you which was never born and will never die. The eternal immortal you. The same awareness which is within everyone and bonds you with all life.

So you start inviting it into the forefront…Like someone dear to your heart you long to spend more time with. You start giving it more space in your everyday life. Through a simple question Am I aware? it becomes nearly tangible. The light of your awareness. Gentle peacefulness opening its arms within you and inviting everything and everyone. Gentle contentment. Gentle happiness. It starts overflowing into everything you do and to all your relationships.

On the outside it might even look like nothing has changed. No, you didn’t retreat into a monastery for good. But you come from a different place now. Your own cup is full and overflowing. So you don’t burden anyone anymore with the impossible responsibility to give you the everlasting happiness…You are free…

Embracing Change

Dear Ones,

Spring is such a powerful force! It awakens all living beings to the new cycle of life. And that includes us human beings :-) It moves us on all levels and anything which is not in an alignment with this new life - with our inner truth, with love and the natural movement forward becomes more apparent than at other times. It seems that nothing and no one can escape this bright light of the spring, nothing stays hidden in a shadow any more.

There is wisdom in the spring too. As for life to continue in the right direction we need to see clearly first. And this time the contrast might be even stronger as we didn’t retreat just for a winter season but a whole year. The chances are we’ve changed more than in previous years and this inner change will be naturally reflecting into all areas of our lives now.

To move forward in the right direction we only need to listen to our inner wisdom which speaks to us accurately through intuition, gut feelings and instincts. Especially when we are peaceful and calm we can trust the inner guidance we are receiving. This infinite intelligence available to all of us doesn’t come from the mind, which is often trapped in pros and cons, plus and minus, trying to control the external world and is often governed by fear. It might be helpful to collect more information first, a job the mind can do brilliantly and also perhaps talk to trusted people who genuinely care for our well being, but the final decisions must always come from the deepest heart, the place which knows without knowing why. The inner compass always pointing to our true north can’t be replaced by anything or anyone external and it’s good to learn to trust it.

Feelings and Emotions

Dear Ones,

feelings are such a big part of us having a human experience. They seem to arise and dissipate constantly and in its diversity colouring our everyday lives like the colours of the rainbow. One of my greatest recent insights was about how conditioned we are to suppress any negative feelings. Although sometimes, for example if they “don’t fit” into our current structure of life, we might suppress even positive feelings such as love and affection. But it’s mainly the negative ones, which are suppressed so quickly that we don’t even notice that we do it.

The judgement for having those feelings also often happens instantly, the thought that we shouldn’t feel these emotions, especially those difficult ones such as envy, jealousy, anger, rage, etc. What we might not realise is that the self-judgement only adds energy to them, like pouring oil to the fire. And by suppressing those emotions, the energy is not lost, but becomes part of our subconscious mind, making us feel heavy and affect our physical health.

These suppressed feelings/energy will then magnetically attract situations and events into our lives which will trigger the same feelings again and again. So for example no one can make you feel angry, unless you already have suppressed anger within you. And if you get angry often, it means you have loads of suppressed anger…Sometimes there is a belief that expressing those negative feelings is healthy, but in fact this only creates a toxic environment no one wants to be part of. And if we are dumping the negative feelings on others, we still don’t deal with them in a constructive way.

Once you realise the true magnificence of the infinite eternal being that you are, you realise that you are like the ocean - deep, vast, majestic, the ocean of oneness. Your true identity of the changeless witness, pure consciousness, pure awareness will translate into stable inner happiness, gentle peace and gentle joy. And it becomes really obvious to you that any of those transient emotions are only like the waves on the surface of the ocean. They come and go if you let them. And when you can see this clearly, you’ll naturally stop identifying with them and in return they’ll lose their power over you. You simply let them come. And then you let them go.

So how do you let them go? By welcoming them, embracing them, not pushing against them, not trying to change them or get rid of them…As what you resist persists. It’s good to know that you don’t have to be scared of any of your emotions. Even the darkest feelings like fear or depression are nothing to be afraid of. I often use the analogy to see them like children. It’s easier for most of us not to judge children, especially the little ones. No matter what mood they are in, we can love them, we can embrace them as they are. So imagine your own negative emotions this way. Unhappy children just needing to be loved, completely embraced and accepted as they are.

They want you to be present with them. Often it helps to imagine opening your arms, opening your heart and just noticing the feeling without any judgement. When we do that the emotion might intensify for a couple of minutes, but if we stay present with it, without letting our mind and rationalisation get in the way, it naturally starts dissipating. This means you’ve just released a layer of suppressed emotion, suppressed energy and so when you encounter the same emotion next time it’s going to be less and less intense. You are on the path of inner liberation, well done!

To me a spiritual maturity means becoming like a child again. Not childish, but childlike. We’ve been on the journey of life for a while, we’ve been touched by life yet recognising clearly that our true nature can’t ever be touched by anything. Our innocence is never lost. Yes it can be temporarily obscured, but never truly lost. And as we recognise it and consciously choose to return to it, we experience awe and wonder of life once again. We are able to be fully present in the moment with abiding reverence for all life. And that includes all our emotions. We let them arise. We let them dissipate. We are not disturbed by them. As we recognise they too are just part of the ever changing reality of appearances…

7 Reasons Meditation Helps You To Find True Self-Love

From my many years working as a life coach, healer and meditation teacher I know for sure there is one thing we all need more of. And it’s not so surprisingly self-love! Sometimes I wish self-love would be one of the main subjects taught in primary school. A subject you couldn’t just skip. No! One of the major subjects the teachers would put as their utmost priority, so that we would all know how to truly love ourselves. Self-love is simply good for everyone!

As when you truly love yourself, you just naturally make the right choices for yourself in all areas of your life. And the next logical benefit is that it is only when you truly love yourself that you can truly love another. So life on planet Earth would look very different if even just the majority of people love themselves. This is really worthy to ponder. So just pause for now, take a deep breath and imagine how it would feel to live in such a world…Do you want to? You can start this quiet revolution by loving yourself a little bit more right now. Especially now when we are going through so many internal and/or external changes with so much unpredictability your self-love will help you to navigate the uncharted territory more safely and confidently. And today I want to share with you why meditation is one of the most profound tools how we can all get there:

1. Meditating helps you get in touch with your feelings. As most of us have been brought up in a society which predominantly “lives in the head”, and so many people lose touch with their heart, with how they really feel. The meditation will bring you back to yourself, to your body, to your feelings. And if you are not being loving towards yourself, you are going to feel it. And that’s a good thing!

2. In meditation you become more aware of your inner monologue and how you really speak to yourself “when no one can hear it.” You might be quite surprised by your inner speech, as the inner monologue often becomes so automatic that you no longer hear it. But unless you are aware of it how would you know that you speak to yourself like to your best friend or like to an enemy?

3.Meditation will help you to find more calm, inner peace and balance and you become more aware of any choices you make taking you away from your inner equilibrium and with time you learn to consciously withdraw from anything which robs you of these wonderful inner qualities. That to me is self-love in action!

4. As meditating takes you deeper and deeper into your heart, you’ll uncover the magnificence of your true being. Step by step you’ll reconnect to infinite beauty, infinite power, infinite wisdom, infinite love and infinite possibilities within you. This too might take you by surprise, but a really good surprise! You’ll naturally start seeing yourself from a completely new fresh perspective and loving yourself more will follow naturally.

5. As meditation helps you to understand more not only your divinity but also your humanity – the places within you needing to heal, you’ll start having more compassion and forgiveness for yourself. You’ll let go of comparing yourself to others, judging yourself and being harsh or hard on yourself.

6. Especially if you meditate in a group of kindred spirits you can also learn from others. Someone might share something you just really needed to hear to understand yourself better and to love yourself more. Also you’ll realise we are all in this together, that there is no competition and that there is never too late to start loving yourself.

7. As you go deeper into your meditation practice, you’ll start reconnecting to the eternal part of yourself, to the part of you which never dies. It’s one thing to just hear it as a philosophical concept and quite another thing is to actually experience it, have a true insight. It will put everything in your life in the right perspective. You’ll realise that you don’t have to be perfect to love yourself, that you are lovable just as you are and that you don’t have to postpone this love for yourself any longer.

thank you for reaching out! I would first start with making peace with the past. Acceptance is such a powerful tool, as what we resist persists. It also teaches us self-love and embracing our humanity. On some level we are all work in progress and what we often perceive as mistakes are just learning experiences. And if we can take the gifts of what we learnt from those experiences into our present moment, we are already healing our past. And even if it would only mean that we now have more understanding and compassion for ourselves and others, it would be more than enough. Learning to be gentle with ourselves and treating ourselves like a best friend is so important!

On a more practical level, it’s often helpful to do some physical exercise too which will ground your energy and calm the mind. Also being in nature is calming and relaxing.

Shamanic Space Clearing

How it works: I use Shamanic Journeying tools to connect with the space and with my guide and helpers. I then remote view the house clairvoyantly and intuitively so that I can remove and transmute energies from my clients’ living or work spaces to restore energy, harmony, peace, flow, and promote growth in their home and their lives.

Once this work is completed, clients often report feeling more grounded, relaxed, energised, and that they feel more harmonious energies in the home.

Working with clients remotely, I open sacred space and commune with the House, the Land Energy, and with Spirit to intuit what is needed.
