Your Brain is a source of Conscious Energy

Your brain is energy. You are energy!

As energy, you interact with more energy, within and around. Simple!

When you stop for a moment to reflect about the Universe, the Divine, the Higher Self, or whatever name you wish to identify yourself with, either in the form of a prayer, or a meditative estate, you will gradually realize that your mind is creating a sacred energetic field of images, thoughts, and feelings to interact with an elevated source of infinite energy, that flows continuously. Therefore, you can access it at any time, just by pausing in silence, and simply allowing your incorporeal brain, the mind to flow in such sacred energy.

God is energy in continuous motion, within, and around us! So, it is every other living creature that surrounds you and me. It is so delicate, yet it operates at very high levels of consciousness and frequencies that involve invisible sensations of joy, inner peace, and love.

The only reason why human body consciousness experiences suffering, depression and many other so called illnesses, is because its energy vibrates at very low frequency levels, manipulated by the EGO mechanisms of fear, doubt, guilt, and sorrow, among many others.

Such low levels of consciousness create dense emotions in the mind, that in turn, generate a psychosomatic reaction in the body, and in the form of organic and chemical disorders.

The lower your inner energy, the more conflict you experience with other frequency levels of consciousness.
Energy is a flow that either, attracts to other sources of energy, or repels away from those sources. That is why your level of energy either attracts people or repels them away from you... Think about this for a moment!
This is known as the physical law of electro-magnetism, which is present in everything within and around the whole Universe.

Since energy is motion and movement all around, it is also considered Consciousness.

Consciousness is motion. It is the condition of existance for everything that is...

Take a moment to pause, breathe deeply, closing your eyes for a moment, and simply surrendering your busy mind to the Consciousness of God within You.

Tune up your brain to acquire higher levels of Consciousness

In my last article I wrote about the components of the soul, which include the unconscious mind, the conscious mind, the intellect, and the actions. These four components when balanced and properly fulfilled, will end up in result, raising the level of vibrations coming from our brain waves, leading us to higher estates of vibrational consciousness that emanate love, peace, joy, compassion, bliss, self-realization, and true abundance.
While it is common for the brain to experience conscious awaken beta waves brain activity ranging from 15 to 38 Hz while on our daily awaken activities, it is important to balance our thoughts, feelings and emotions, our physical body, and most important our estate of spirit to achieve meaningful results that add value to oneself, as well as to others. Beta waves are important for the rapid process of words, logical, and rational thinking, selective attention, and concentration. However, when the brain is in constant beta activity, the tendency to get more anxious is higher, as well as hypervigilance, which results from anger, fear, traumatic abuse, and stress behaviors.
It is known that in average, the human brain produces currently between 60,000 and 80,000 thoughts per day, and 80% of such thoughts, unfortunately are conditioned to negative thinking produced by the influence of social media, news, poor habits, anxiety, stress, self-limiting paradigms, and depression. Even when our brain is apparently functioning during our regular routine in such range of beta waves, there might be a limitation of our highest potential and a limited vibrational outcome to express out our true potential. Ideally, we should have the ability to raise our level of consciousness, focus, concentration, and sense of self-realization in a more balanced way when our brain is able to achieve other ranges of brain wave frequencies, such is the case of alfa waves which modulate between 8 and 12 Hz. And additionally, the vibrations emitted in such field of frequency will raise by giving priority to the practice healthier habits, such as mindfulness, increased creative and imaginative process in a relaxed way. It should be clear that the excess of Alpha waves in the brain can also contribute to detrimental estates of consciousness such is as feeling lost, without energy or no will, difficulty to resolve problems, lost of focus, and difficulty to perform physical activity.

It is also important to understand that our brain and body jointly communicate because of the interchange of electrical impulses, as well as biochemical reactions commonly known in neuroscience as neurotransmitters. While there are over 50 different types of these chemical compounds, existent in our body, there are four crucial compounds that alter drastically the biological behavior of the body, the brain, and consequently our levels of consciousness and therefore, our estate of spirit. Such chemicals are known as dopamine, serotonin, cortisol, and adrenaline. Let us remember that everything within and around us is energy. Electrical and biochemical reactions are sources of energy, that originate from our thoughts, emotions, feelings, behaviors, internal judgements, and actions, and they will determine our level of awareness within and around us, therefore, influencing our estate of consciousness.

While dopamine is recognized as the neurotransmitter in charge of generating pleasure and immediate reward, serotonin on the other hand is known as the neurotransmitter of balanced wellbeing, relaxation, peace, happiness, appetite, and sleep regulation. On the other hand, cortisol, and adrenaline, which are produced in the suprarenal glands, just above the kidneys, are substances liberated into the blood flow during moments of strong emotions, stress, and alert estates. The more these last two components are present in our biological systems, the more effort our brain functions and body mechanisms need to perform to compensate the loss of energy and remain active. Just think about the catastrophic effects of a day after day, week after week, and year after year routine filled of continuous alarming excitatory events, worries, and stress. The result will be the same as a car engine that is running non-stop at full speed. Eventually, it will fall apart.

Let us remember that daily stressful activities to produce results at extremely short periods of time are not the only source for degradation of our effective brain functioning. Bad eating habits and disorders lead to poor production of neurotransmitters. Excessive and repetitive degrading self-thoughts of perfectionism, guilt, and fear also increase the production of cortisol and adrenaline in our body.
The sad part of the story is that this is common in all countries, cultures, and all levels of societies. We currently live in a wild jungle, where the main purpose of existance has turned out to be a need for survival. And even worst, we are surrounded and conditioned to the use of innumerous types of immediate result-oriented products that are available in the market to hide the pain and the discomfort of all our repressed feelings and emotions that are caused by that sense of survival, and our need to be recognized and accepted in this cruel and wild jungle of life. We have fast food, sugars, alcohol, drugs, TV, cell phones, pornography, social media, and so many sorts of other physical outcomes that are excellent sources of production of dopamine in our brain. Therefore, we are currently living on an immediate retribution and pleasure based behavioral society that prevents us from unfolding our highest potential, with complete blindness of our true hidden powers to create and express ourselves, and sadly enough, we live surrounded by the “whatever, I don’t care, I just work here” mentality!

What most people don´t realize is that the more the immediate result-oriented product consumption leads to the dependance and attachment to such resources because the brain as an organ itself, does not have the ability to differentiate what is good or what is bad for ourselves. The brain simply triggers the production of chemical reactions including cortisol, adrenaline, and dopamine to build temporary sensations and feelings of pleasure and gratification in the neuronal cells of the limbic system, located in the middle of the brain. The excess of such neurotransmitters and enzymes deteriorates the production of other neurotransmitters, originating psychosomatic reactions in the body, as well as limiting our effective brain functioning.

For the brain to physically work properly, it needs to receive four main types of nutrients on a daily basis to maintain its composition, being those, water, fat acids, glucose and mineral salts. However, this is not enough to increase our levels of consciousness. If an individual is only focused on maintaining its physical image, eating properly, but he/she has emotional dilemmas and uses its energy only on working out to hide such repressed feelings, its emotional, mental and spiritual health is unbalanced and compromising its brain frequencies by maintaining low levels of energetic vibrations. Same thing applies to people who spend their entire energy working, becoming addicted to continuously showing results to other people´s dreams to escape from their painful conflictive relationships at home. Lack of proper sleep, unconscious deceptional thoughts, and repressed emotions are consuming the inner energy of the person, preventing them to experience higher levels of consciousness estates. As a control panel, the brain is responsible for making the right connections from every lobe and hemisphere to gather information that is stored in the neurons in the form of memories of previously learned experiences, behaviors, feelings, emotions, sensations, to produce conscious thoughts and ideas that at the same time are planned, created, judged, analytically evaluated from the previously accumulated intellect to produce a decision, and ultimately convert them into actions in which we as living beings will express in the world
The question now relies on what expressions do we choose to manifest? How much of the knowledge that we have acquired, are we willing to share? How can we produce outcomes that really add value to our wellbeing and most importantly to the wellbeing of others? What type of genuine conscious actions are we going to take to manifest all the good things in life that we want?

A good way to start shifting into higher levels of consciousness, first involves taking responsibility for all of our current dilemmas and present situations and do a reality check list of what is currently affecting and blocking ourselves to move out of the conflicting or non-desirable situation. Then it is important to take the time to explore and reflect on possible ways that can help us change old habits and limiting paradigms. Do whatever it is necessary and commit with yourself to find the resources that best will suit your needs to change. Third and most important, is to develop new habits that will increase the level of serotonin, reduce the levels of dopamine action in the brain, as well as reduce the flow of cortisol and unnecessary adrenaline in the blood flow, in order to not only experience healthier, balanced, and higher brain frequencies, but also to increase the charge of energetic vibrations emanating from within you as a whole being to the world and the Universe.

Some immediate actions to consider as measurable and relatively easy to start putting into practice would be:
- Stay away from the cell phone, computer, and internet frequency waves when going to sleep at night, if possible, turn off all this equipment during your sleep time.
- Reduce the consumption of sugar.
- Consume Spirulina, a natural type of blue-green algae used as a dietary supplement, increases immunity, cleans blood, and enhances digestion, among many other benefits.
- Consume Cajun and pumpkin seeds which contain mineral salts to boost memory and regulate blood sugar levels.
- Consume Omega-3, essential brin health and for synaptic connections between neuronal cells, enhances cognitive function, modulates mood, and powerful antioxidant.
- Consume more vegetables rich in magnesium, zinc, and vitamins to enhance energy production, higher level of immunity, bone, and muscle strength, and reduces anxiety.
- Cook your own healthy food, as this guarantees you are focusing on healthy nutrients that you know only you have prepared. An excellent therapeutic practice.
- Be in constant contact with nature. Trees, and soil help to absorb lower frequencies and vibrations out of your body and increase your level of awareness around you.
- Meditate. This practice enhances the pineal gland, creates new neurons and synaptic connections and balances important neurotransmitters in the brain such as GABA.
- Practice giving without expectation of retribution more than receiving. This practice activates the mid brain and the subgenual area of the brain increasing endorphins and serotonin.
- Practice powerful thoughts every day before you sleep at night and before you get up in the morning as this re programs your subconscious mind and facilitates the process of reducing ruminating and repetitive negative thinking behaviors.
- Pay attention to your self-talk. Words are actions. Lethal actions!
- Find professional help on strategic approaches to help you elevate your paths of consciousness, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, hypnotherapy, life, and spiritual life coaching, among others.

From the spiritual perspective, it is crucial to understand that thoughts, emotions, knowledge, intellect, and everything that composes the self, is charged with energy that vibrates through our energetic layers or chakras in frequencies. When we are experiencing low frequency, levels based on negative emotions such as anger, guilt, and fear (under 175hz), the tendency of energy is to be denser and heavier, and the tendency of problems and painful experiences is to arise. Everything seems to be more difficult to accomplish because the brain is operating under stressful circumstances that produce cortisol and adrenaline. The other side of the coin shows that when we experience higher frequency levels based on willingness, courage, and acceptance (200 to 350hz), the energy increases its vibration and contributes to the balance and control of the self. Experiences require less effort to accomplish. Emotions that are based on the practicing peace, joy, love, and respect (above 400hz), are considered the highest level of frequency that a self-evolved human being can achieve. This kind of energy resonates with many of the highest consciously aware leaders known in history, such as Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Martin Luther, and many others.

How does the Soul interconnect with the Brain and the Body?

Despite my overall knowledge and studies in Neuroscience and Psychoanalysis, there is a deep part of my inner self, which involves the passion that I have for learning and expanding my Conscience. To me, the expansion of Conscience, involves getting in contact with the deepest and the purest part of me, which I consider it to be my Soul.
Brain and body interact simultaneously through the interchange of biochemical and electrical impulses through what we know as our nervous system. And at the same time, the brain, which is biologically and physically a massive structure of approximately 100 billion neural cells making interconnections at a rate of 1⁄10.000 for every single neuron. But how to explain the perfection by which the brain can control biologically speaking, every single part of the human body. What is it that provides the impulse for the brain to accomplish such enormous and complex task? From the years that I have dedicated myself to explore and understand my own human complexities, I have learned that there are of course, many scientific proven facts that will define this activity as the result of the electrical impulses.

Very recently, I had the opportunity to listen to an audio conference call on Spirituality, and the main topic evolved over the interconnection between Soul, Brain, and Body. I believe that the topic is crucial for those who choose to seek and experience higher consciousness levels in their quest for evolution and a more successful life with a meaningful purpose. Although, the subject might be quite complex, I decided to share some of the key points that I have been blessed to learn, as a means of profound gratitude with the Universe for having delivered such a wonderful gift of wisdom to me.
All of us as human beings are composed of a body that moves and executes many internal biological functions to experience the physical life as we all objectively experience it. One important point to consider is that the body is designed to express in the living world, as well as to be in continuous motion, thanks to the commands of the brain, which sends electrical signals through what are known as the axons, or the extensions of the brain neurons to the entire body structure. Scientifically speaking, such transmission of signals from the human brain is referred as the action potential that occurs when the neuron’s cell creates activity by a depolarizing energy current that travels as an electrical explosion throughout the axons, all the way to each organ, muscle, bone, fingers, and toes, to respond to the signals that the body requires for movement, motion, and proper functioning. Such impulses which contain cell information can travel as slow as 0.5 meters/sec., or as fast as 120 meters/sec., which is the same as travelling at the speed of 432 km/hr, or 275mph. This merely a simple explanation of how the human body correlates with the brain, at least from the proven physical, observational, and visible point of view.

It can be implied that the source of electrical activity that originates in the brain relies on the type of nutrients that contain Sodium, Potassium, and Calcium among others, that are absorbed through a balanced diet. If such ionized elements are capable to produce enough electrical charges for the brain to use approximately up to 25 watts, which would be enough to turn a small light bulb, then the question of how such discharges, along with the interchange of biochemical signals between synapses, or the intercommunication between neurons is possible in such a perfect manner to be able to produce thoughts, store memories, remember past experiences, imagine, and even, acquire repetitive behaviors and produce mental judgements about the same inner thoughts and behaviors, that as a result will give origin to our actions?
Consciously or even unconsciously, we cannot escape from the fact the there is one crucial component that makes our brain and body to function together, our thoughts able to produce actions based on learned experiences, and our expressions through our feelings and emotions to manifest in the living world, all simultaneously and yet, in a unique way, depending on our mood and our so-called estate of consciousness.

When we react to something, or when we respond to an event with a certain attitude, when we experience psychosomatic sensations in our body due to imprinted memories, or when we internally analyze and judge the course of action that we should take in regard to a specific situation, we need to be open to the fact that our brain is simply acting as the control panel that gathers all the information contained in the neurons to organize and create images, ideas, and scenarios that at some point will create an intention and then, a decision to become a vivid action, or not. For example, while I am writing this article, my brain is gathering the memories of a previous learning process, which is stored on my sub-conscious, restored in my conscious mind, and simultaneously generating thoughts and ideas that are also being organized and planned coherently, to produce the action of writing and transmitting a message, based on what I have learned previously, retained, felt and experienced. In addition to all this process, there is an intention to share with you some of the result of something that I have learned, as well as the conscious feeling of a sense of purpose leading to an expectation that will result in the hope to also produce a learning experience to the reader. It is also provoking a positive behavioral attitude of collaboration. All this simultaneous activity is also associated with an amount of energy that is produced not only from the electrical signals in the brain, but also from a much deeper, invisible, yet somehow difficult to describe source, which I understand as the aspects of my soul.

From my learning, and in my humble opinion, I would say that the previous paragraphs have somehow described in a logical matter such aspects of the Soul. The Soul to me is the everything and the invisible, as well as the intangible aspects of all that makes part of expression and composes the existence of energy in a physical world. I am conscious that I have a brain, a body, however, I am energy! I am a source that interacts, expresses, produces outcomes, and shares Energy!
To elucidate the subject of the soul from another perspective, I would like to refer to the concepts of Raja Yoga, that define the union with the Higher Self, the Supreme Power, the Source, the Higher Energy, God, Allah, or whatever name everyone chooses to refer to this Greater Source according to its own principles or believes and personal values.
During meditation, there is a practical principle of concentration with eyes closed in a main point located in the forehead, right in the middle and above the two eyes, in which the person will focus the attention only to that point. With time, practice, and proper breathing (vital energy), the point might form internally a series of mental flashes, or a small point of light, which is the personal way that I experience when I meditate. Raja Yoga identifies the visualization of such point of light on a moment of stillness and silent experience as the Soul, the Origin, the I AM…

My experience with meditation for quite some years now, has guided me to the conclusion that whenever I connect with that magnificent point of Light, visible only by my inner visualization, I am connecting directly with the Source of who I AM, in a moment of extreme inner peace, joy, quietness, yet a feeling of complete peace and harmony. I am connecting with my Higher and Divine Conscience, to me, God. And the more I practice meditation, the more balance I obtain on my thoughts, my emotions, my body, and mainly my spiritual vibration, which makes my day to day to be more harmonious in relation with myself, with others, and with everything that surrounds me. Don´t ask me what happens when I lack to meditate. It gets uncomfortable, the day does not go as planned, and my Ego may get defensive at times, among others.
From the Neuroscience perspective, there are many studies that can be fund on the internet to prove that continuous practice of meditation increases the frequency of the brain waves, as well as it contributes to the formation of new neuronal cells, a process called Neurogenesis. It also contributes to the chemical balance of several neurotransmitters such as Serotonin and Acetylcholine, reduces the formation and flow of Cortisol in the blood system by regulating the suprarenal glands, and many, many other important health benefits.

Bringing back the concept of the Soul, there is a imminent question that every individual will ask at some point of their existence, and that question refers to who I am, really. Not what I have, but who I really am. This question brings other questions, such as where do I come from? why do I exist? Why do I behave or do the things I do? Why do I think? And so on. I personally cannot tell you the answers to those questions, because each one is adult enough to discover its own unique experience as a living form in this world. It is each one’s responsibility to discover the beauty inside his/her own unique significance.
What I can offer you is my theorical learning experience of the concepts of the Soul, which are basically three: The Sub-Conscious, the Conscious Mind, and the Intellect.

The Sub-conscious, also known as the Samskaras in Raja Yoga, are mental impressions and psychological imprints that produce behavioral inclinations, whether they are negative or positive, and which define the personality of an individual through the experiences of life. They influence our thoughts, emotions, and actions in a repetitive manner as they get stored in the form of memories in our sub-conscious. There are many references on the Internet referring to the types of Samskaras that can be explored, and self-evaluated to help you determine which are your own personal ones. I leave that part with each individual reader to discover as a part of his/her own personal development experience. This is the portion of the self in which the EGO and all the mechanisms of defense are originated.

The mind, or conscious mind is part of the soul which manages the thoughts, the emotions, as well as images and the desires. It is the part in which I experience the world, throughout my thinking, and my objects of attention. The mind is also composed of the connections between the thoughts. The mind is considered as the thinking power of the soul, in which ideas and the creative process are formed.

The intellect is the conscience, different from the conscious mind, however, it is subtle and non-physical. It is the intellect that makes judgement of the conscious mind components. It judges the thoughts, emotions, as well as the images and desires, and then it generates the decision-making process. It is on the intellect that the formation of the conscience inner voice comes from, and where our moral values are defined, whether they are indirectly imposed and conditioned, or whether they are freely chosen to be lived by and experienced as part of our existence and expression with the rest of the other living beings and creatures. The psychoanalytical schools would understand this aspect of the soul as the Super EGO, or the judge of our actions and doings.

The way in which the interaction of the components of the soul occurs with the mind, the brain, and consequently with the body, are as follows, in my opinion: All our experiences in life are registered through our five senses, and they all come along with an invisible and sometimes undetected source of emotional energy that gets stored in the brain forming memories, impressions and creating believes as well as habits that result on a specific behavior or samskara. The samskara, as a long-term memory becomes part of the sub-consciousness. Everything on the sub-consciousness that includes such memories, believes, attitudes, impressions and habits will interact with the conscious mind in the form of images, thoughts, emotions, and desires. What will determine if such components of the conscious mind; the thought, image, emotion, or desire, will become or not an expressed action is the intellect that is responsible for judging and making the decision of turning those into action. Actions on the other hand require intent, purpose, and motion in order to be expressed in the outer world. This will be conducted by the mind, and ellaborated in the control panel which is the brain. Ultimately, if the action becomes vivid, it is the body that will phisically express the action along with the behavior, the intention, and the attitude.

While the intention of this article is not driven to explain the expansion or the awakening of the conscience, as a point of conclusion, I would refer to the interconnection of the soul with the brain, and the body as the expression of our most inner and higher source of energy that allows every single living creature to exist and be what ever he/she/it chooses to be.

The key point for personal reflection out of this information remains on each individual mentally asking with all heart and mind, from an honest, true and humble perspective,

Reflections regarding Spirituality and the Brain

Even though there are quite several resources and references available today to explain the impacts and the behavior of the human brain from the spiritual point of view, I would like to offer you with my personal perspective, based on my own experience of life.

First, I believe it is crucial to clarify that Spirituality is a state of mind. It is an inner state that we all human beings experience throughout all our lives and during all our existence, whether it is unconscious or conscious. Such inner state is interdependently connected with our emotions and our thoughts. One simple way to describe it would be when we silently pray or ask for something to THAT bigger source of being Greater than us, and we automatically receive a response in the form of an inner voice. You can call it the inner voice or inner conscience if you prefer. And it is as real as your thoughts and emotions are. Therefore, you should never ignore it.

So, the question in reality is where does such inner voice, or inner conscience come from. One might think it comes from a miraculous external source, or from deep inside your gut. Well, both answers might be true, depending on each person’s point of view. The important thing is to understand it as an entirely part of your mental processes because it really gets triggered from our inner states of conscience.

Can we then say that Spirituality relates to estates of consciousness? Can we associate consciousness to the fact of life inside ourselves? In other words, does our inner Universe created with our own mental images seem to be more real yet not easily described as the scientific proven facts of the Outer Universe that we read about?

The fact that I am pointing such questions is because there are no straight scientifically proved answers form the neuroscience perspective in regards to where and how does Spirituality originates in each individual. While conscience might be easily defined as a estate of awareness, Spirituality might relate to the concept of individual and universal awareness of everything and anything that exists within and around. The way each human being sees its life and existence depends on the types of perceptions and memories of all kinds of life learning experiences that have been stored in its memories, and how its own brain has created diverse multidimensional images of the way such person chooses to be aware of itself, others, and any other living creatures.

How do we collect information from our sensory system and how do we choose to relate with such information during our existence is a personal perspective that can only be defined by every single individual. Therefore, what Spirituality means for me, might be a totally different perspective of what you the reader have in regard to your own point of view.

Notice that I am not making any considerations to religious believes or dogmas imposed by the several churches. While religion conditions the human brain to learn certain principles and values. Spirituality itself, cannot be defined in general terms, because it occurs in an individualized manner, yet its goal is to connect with the laws of existence that surround every human and living creature.

For several years now, I have been fascinated with learning about the way my brain functions and how do I relate with myself mainly, and then with others. To more I question myself about my relationship with God, the more convinced I become by the answers I get from my inner voices, that I am part of such Great Universal Source which makes part of my life, my health, my continuous support, protection, the fulfillment of all my needs, and my highest inspiration.

My brain which is the main repository organ that manages my own thoughts, emotions, and connects with my physical body, still also can resonate with diverse vibrational frequencies that go from Alpha (8-12 Hz), and Beta (12-27HZ) brain wave estates to Gamma (27 + Hz) waves.

Each type of brain wave is produced in the brain depending on the estate of consciousness, and by the perception of sensory captures. Such waves will generate a type a frequency that can decrease or increase depending on the type of thoughts, emotions, and perceptions that we choose to experience. If we choose to feed our brain with negative thoughts and self-degenerating emotions, the result of our brain waves will be low, therefore our vibrational frequency will also be low. On the other hand, if we choose to feed positive and healthy thoughts that elevate our estates of emotional balance, the result of such brain waves will show an increase in vibrational frequencies, usually referred in Hertz. Not only the brain gets an increased number of bio electrical connections between neurons, but it also increases the levels of dopamine, serotonin, and acetylcholine, which are important neurotransmitters necessary for our well being and the health of our brain.

If we are to relate the type of vibrational frequencies that we choose produce from our daily routine with the estate of Spirituality, we can conclude then that Spirituality is also related to our levels of energy and consciousness.

A final reflection to summarize the thoughts of these lines, is to invite you to consciously work every morning before starting your daily routine on the quality of the thoughts and emotions that you will choose to experience during the day.

Reflections on the states of the brain in times of quarantine!

How to live the present moment without the anxiety of the future that is certainly unknown? And how to hide from the unconscious fear that the past hides on the deepest of our memories?

Those are probably some of the questions that we, as humans might be currently experiencing in such crucial times, in which everything, and I mean everything is somehow been forced by the Universe to be reformulated deep inside our souls.

In such times of quarantine, both, the memories of the past are as vivid and present in our minds, as well as the anxiety of whatever that we do not know yet, will happen after the pandemic is completely controlled.

How to deal with such inner conflicts that might appear as our worst enemies in our own heads?

As a coach and therapist, I must be honest that I do experience such moments as well as any other human being. However, the way in which I am choosing to feed in my thoughts, my emotions, and my state of spirit every day when I wake -up, are most definitely making a tremendous impact on how my days move along.

Being in social isolation, is in fact an opportunity to work on my deeper self, to continue connecting to my roots, to my essence, to everything that my memories have stored for many years. It is also a gift from life that invites me to look and work on my dreams, on my vision of the future that still does not exist, but that I am constructing while I am consciously breathing and taking the actions to make them solid.

The key ingredient in this short note is to reflect for a moment on the present moment.

By being present, I mean that absolutely nothing else matters in this precise moment, but my breathing, my thoughts, my emotions, my state of spirit, and my body. Being connected to all these four states, which in fact originate in the brain, and interconnect one with the other, makes me pass through the experience of simply being. Without any expectations or judgments, without any fears or worries; without anything that can interfere with the energy of simply being alive that resides inside my inner self and connects me with my higher self as well.

So, in the spirit of not simply sharing this as my own personal reflection, I want to add the questions that come to my mind right now, in an effort to invite whoever is reading this to reflect on them as well.

From the mental state point of view, I must emphasize on the kind of thoughts that I am currently feeding. Am I feeding my brain with negative and invasive thoughts? Or, am I really trying to feed my mental state with thoughts of gratitude, abundance, productivity, and orienting my focus to meaningful results?

From the emotional point of view, I am looking to connect with both, feelings, and emotions that I am currently passing through. What am I feeling, versus, what am I choosing to feel in this precise moment? If for any reason I am feeling sad, lonely, or even desperate, can I choose to feel different? What if I choose to embrace the feeling of inner peace by simply choosing this moment as a gift that the Universe is giving me?

How do I see myself in this moment? How do I choose to see myself? Am I seeing myself as an insignificant human being? What if I could choose to see myself as a unique soul full of potential, creativity, freedom to create a much better version of what I currently think and feel about myself?

And what about my body? When I look in the mirror, what do I physically see? Is that the body that I am currently feeding to protect my inner soul? What am I doing with what I really see in myself as a human being?

Deep inside me there is a soul that needs to live on a physical body full of energy and light. What if I could simply start moving and getting in motion? Would that make a difference for all these bones and muscles?

Despite the reactions that might come along with such reflections, it is crucial to understand that there are no right or wrong answers, there are no immediate solutions, and no sudden results! Everything is happening and transforming in the most perfect moment and its own time. That is the wonder of the Universe in which all of us, you and I are connected!

If I might conclude with a piece of advice though, I would say: Let´s keep it simple! Let´s focus on the present by simply breathing!

However intelligence is something very relative because it refers to your ability to adapt to all kinds of situations in which you are able to have an equilibrium in your mental process to make decisions, in the way that your emotions are managed consciously, on your physical health and proper nutrition, as well as your spiritual balance. Ask yourself how are you dealing with your thoughts, emotions, spirit, and physical estates. Are they positive? Are you eating healthy food? I hope this helps you.
