Feeling at peace with oneself does not mean having it all figured out.
It means:
β Being open and curious to learn about yourself constantly
β Accepting that you are a dynamic system, that's always evolving
β Tolerating the discomfort that comes with change and uncertainty
β Connecting with other people in ways that are meaningful to you
You don't have to be the master of self-discovery.
Because this process never ends.

Do you have any suggestions on how to cope with intrusive thoughts that always ruin my peaceful state? Nothing seems to help me for such a long time :(
Also, do you think it's even possible to be fully at peace with yourself all of the time? Or there will be definitely times when you don't feel at easy and you basically cannot do anything?
Thanks in advance!
There is a technique that we call PICA:
a) Pause and notice the thought
b) Identify - what is the thought about? what is it trying to tell you? (here it can help to write down some ideas about it)
c) Change - think about ways in which you can change your reaction to the thought (What could you do differently this time?)
d) Act - start taking steps forward with this new change in behavior you noticed before.
Otherwise, engaging in meditation practices to become more aware of these thoughts or engaging in coaching sessions can also be very helpful.
I think it's natural to have all sorts of emotions. And sometimes, not feeling at peace with ourselves is what makes us grow. <3
Wow, thank you so much for sharing! Will definetly try these!
