I have years of expereince working with seniors, those with limited mobility, so my classes are suitable for those returning to fitness after illness as well as those with limited mobility.
Clients get instruction in the Alexander Technique as well as Energy Healing and Crystal Healing as indicated for the presenting condition.
The Alexander technique teaches improved posture and movement, which is believed to help reduce and prevent problems caused by unhelpful habits. During a number of lessons you're taught to be more aware of your body, how to improve poor posture and move more efficiently.
Crystals emit positive, uplifting, energizing, and calming vibrations that help you achieve a more peaceful mind and a revitalized physical state of being.
Reiki Healing can travel through space and time. I've done many healings. I am especailly good at reducing pain.
What for: Improving core strength, spine flexibility, and body awareness. Decreasing stress and generalized body discomfort. (Belly dance is not meant to diagnose or treat any specific condition, illness, or disease).
How: I start by teaching the proper stance which is also the proper alignment/ posture for every day living. Each individual move helps us embody further, forcing us to stay fully present to what we are doing. Moves that are more difficult point to energetic and physical blocks in the body which can be addressed in session.
Remedial Massage Therapy is the manual application of deep pressure massage therapy in the aim to release tight muscles, restore spinal balance and reduce muscle pain, joint stiffness and nerve symptoms.
Massage pressure is often firm to release trigger points and sometimes more gentle for relaxation purposes for stress and anxiety.
By activating the bone code, the bones become strong and dense again and the erection of the spine is supported. It is energetically supported scoliosis and osteoporosis in its healing.

Are you struggling with pain? Is it interfering with how you function and perform activities of daily living? Then, a consultantion with the Pain Specialist might be what you need. During a consultation, Dr. Limakatso will conduct a thorough subjective assessment to have an idea of what might be causing pain. He will then conduct active physical tests to identify physical structures that might be contributing to pain. Thereafter, a comprehensive treatment programme will be initiated to address biopsychosocial factors contributing to pain and reduced function.
By becoming more aware of what we are actually doing (rather than what we think we are doing), our brain makes new neural connections, and we can find new, easier ways of moving. This improved kinaesthetic skill allows us to move in a way that causes less pain, feel better, and have greater efficiency of both movement and thought. Each step brings us closer to our potential.
In group classes we move in order to discover more about ourselves and our habits, and how we can become more aware of the habits that hold us back. I lead you through a series of movements, for this laboratory of the self to help you find easier ways to move.
Classes are at 7pm Sundays, 10 am Mondays, 7pm Wednesdays, 8pm Thursdays (UK time)
