The truth is that when I became a parent my over-giving took over my life, I thought I had to be the mother, saviour and carer to everybody.

I lived to fulfill my family's and friends' needs and felt like a superwoman.

I was a full time mum, wife, entrepreneur…and felt that there wasn’t much I could not do for others but the other side of the coin was that I had come to neglect my own needs, health and business.

Everything changed the day I realised how unhealthy this constant people-pleasing and perfectionism was and how much harm I had been doing to myself.

The journey hasn’t been easy, the '𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧' I had previously been finally learned to use the word 'no' .

Most importantly I learned that part of the reason I had developed habit of over-giving was because deep down I did not feel worthy.
