Pisces Full Moon 2021
Welcome to Blood Moon Milk, the astrology show that comes out ever new and full moon to help guide you on your mindfulness, meditation, and manifestation journey. I’m your host Aurorah, and I simply have to say thank you for listening and spending your full moon with me. Without your support, I wouldn’t be here. This episode is all about the full moon in Pisces on September 20th, 2021. 28’ 14 degrees Pisces. Water sign full moons tend to be the most dramatic because the element of water is so responsive to the lunar cycle, and intuition. I’m excited about this full moon because I get the sense that it might be one of the most dramatic of the year. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and this full moon occurs at 28 degrees in the sign of Pisces, which is almost the last degree of the zodiac, which would be 29. So I get the sense that this full moon will bring about some significant endings. The Sabian symbol for 28 degrees Pisces is :
“LIGHT BREAKING INTO MANY COLORS AS IT PASSES THROUGH A PRISM
This shows analyzing things, considering and drawing conclusions from available data, and being perceptive of colors, light refraction or reflection, auras, and light. Situations break down into the simplest components to see the full picture. This can and often does lead to a greater understanding of the relationship between the whole and the many parts. Just be careful not to overanalyze, thereby losing the joy that's inherent in the simplicities of life. Taking a single vision and turning it into many individual streams can be rewarding, but it can also confuse and distract. Spectrum analysis. Color and crystal healing. Rainbows. Light refraction. Considering many facets of a situation. Optics. Sight. Telescopes. Microscopes. Auras. Copying ideas.
The Caution: Locked into a set of parameters. Over analyzing things. Being blinded by ambition. Diffracted personalities. Mirages. Using instruments yet not seeing things as they are.

I like to look at Sabian symbols to help tap into my intuition about what’s in store and how that relates to the planetary movements. So far we have themes of endings, and healing, and many colors of light, and factions coming from a single source to separate into their color bands.
Currently, we are solidly in Virgo season, who is concerned with all things practical, Pisces in opposition to Virgo who is ruled by Neptune. Pisces is deeply emotional and intuitive energy, in contrast to Virgo’s rather practical nature which can come off as somewhat detached and solely focused on what is tangible. Pisces is all about the intangibles. The feelings, the inspiration, the creativity, the joy of experiencing all that life has to offer. Pisces is also a great manifesting sign. If someone with strong Piscean placements wants something all they have to do is focus their energy on it, and more often than not the universe will conspire to bring it to them. This is due impart because of Neptune’s influence over the subconscious but also because Jupiter is also considered to be a ruler of Pisces, and he expands everything he touches. So when Jupiter expands Neptune’s influence over the subconscious it magnifies the power of the mental realms and supercharges Pisces manifesting ability. Now, this can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what Pisces is focusing on. If Pisces is focusing on manifesting positive things, they will show up, if Pisces is focusing on negative things they will show up. So if you’re a Pisces and you’re listening to this or watching this video, and you only take one thing away from my talk today. Let it be this:
“you will get whatever you focus on, so choose wisely. “
Let’s look more closely at the astrology at play during this full moon.
The Sun is in Virgo as we well know. While in Virgo the sun shines his light on all things practical, healthy, down to earth, and analytical. Virgo energy is highly detail-oriented, highly organized.
He will be in opposition to the moon, which is the regularly occurring phenomenon that creates the full moon. This creates tension between the pubic at large and our inner more sensitive nature represented by the moon. The moon in Pisces is pretty much the opposite of the sun in Virgos energy. Pisces is all about intuition, feelings, and can feel challenged by Virgo’s preoccupation with details and organizing. To some extent, Pisces can get frustrated by the world that asks it to organize its creative flow, finding that organization can impede on simply being in the divine moment of inspiration. Pisces is the great empath of the zodiac so it is tuned in to the feelings and experiences of all the other signs but seemingly is almost beyond the others signs reach in terms of depth of feeling and understanding. This can create a kind of martyr effect if it’s allowed to run away with itself. Watch out for this tendency to be self-sacrificing as it’s usually an unhealthy expression of Piscean energy.
This full moon has a fair few intense aspects going on with it. This full moon has an out of sign opposition with Mars because Mars is newly in Libra but he’s close enough to the 28-degree mark that he brings his attitude to this full moon party. While Mars is in Libra, he’s somewhat debilitated. He’s as far away from his home sign as he can get. While Mars is in Libra he is preoccupied with fairness and is willing to go into battle on behalf of others. As a result of this transit during the full moon, arguments could break out, your circle might be angry or feel as if they have been victims of a grave injustice. It could be difficult to find a constructive way to assert ourselves.
This full moon also conjuncts Neptune. This conjunction isn’t exact, but I think it’s close enough to have a say about what we’re all feeling this day. It could be easy to feel overwhelmed by the general feeling of life during this full moon. Often we think of full moons as times of completion and, you might simply find yourself feeling drained from all the work you’ve been putting into making your dreams come true. Listen to your body’s need to rest and connect with your higher source of energy Know that being busy is not the same as making an impact. Consider that it might be more impactful to do less once in a while. The phrase “human beings, not human doings” comes to mind. Neptunian energy is lovely stuff, it’s an intuitive connection to source energy and inspiration. But when this connection to the source is disrupted or blocked by tasks that continually deplete our energy we feel drained and lifeless. It can lead us to desire to escape, usually through means of escapist behavior like drugs or alcohol, or simply actually running away. Avoid negative situations by accepting they exist, but also choosing where to spend your limited energy wisely.
Mercury will be in Libra during this full moon, so whatever drama may come up, it seems as if there will be some kind words on the way that is likely to soothe any raw nerves. Sharing ideas could help to create a valuable dialogue that smoothes things over as well. Mercury in Libra will trine Jupiter Aquarius at 24 degrees either sign. This trine is almost exact which is one of the nicest aspects to have in astrology.
This creates an abundance of joyful conversations. It could be a good day for meeting new interesting people from far-off places that put things into relative perspective as well as uplifting the energetic baseline. This is one of the aspects that excites me the most during this full moon. I get the sense that even with other more intense aspects happening, that this one will help to make everything more amenable and less traumatic. Big ideas, big plans, big news. This could show up as big news where human rights are concerned as well since Jupiter is in humanitarian-minded Aquarius, and Mercury is in diplomatic Libra. If you have been listening to the Daily Dose podcast or reading my daily dose emails you might have picked up on this theme of big confrontational aspects happening lately involving 24 degrees.
However, this contrasts with Mercury’s building square to Pluto which will likely be felt here as well. Squares are difficult transits that create friction and action. Where ever pluto is involved he tends to get his way, because he’s so slow-moving and powerful as a result. For some, especially individuals with personal planetary placements at or near 24 degrees any of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn you’re likely to feel the tensions from this building Mercury-Pluto square. This means you could be involved in harsh words, obsessive thoughts and behavior, and or an unwillingness to listen to others.
Venus will be in Scorpio during this full moon, and she has a pretty close quincunx with Chiron in Aires. This aspect again is a less fun one, but it can lead to self-sacrificing behavior either real or imagined. Martyrdom is never a fun thing to witness or to be constantly reminded of so make sure you have your healthy boundaries in place. Venus in Scorpio is intense energy when she’s uncomfortable, and the key to knowing how happy your venus is if yours is in Scorpio is noticing how peaceful she’s feeling. Are you anxious about a relationship or are you calm when you think about it? If anxiety is ruling your behavior then it’s time for a new relationship.
Venus will be in opposition to Uranus in Taurus which can create the urge for freedom in a relationship and can underscore relative confines of safety and the known versus exploring new depths.

Questions for mindfulness, meditation, and manifestation.
I suggest you work on tuning into your crown chakra during this full moon as this is our connection to the divine source and the energy that connects us to the universe. If you can imagine a flower with a thousand petals blooming this might help connect you with this aspect of your divine connection.
If you would like to incorporate crystals into your meditation I suggest purple fluorite. Amethyst is another good one that most people have but purple fluorite can help to align the productive qualities associated with Virgo energy with the intuition of the Piscean moon.
Always start from a place of gratitude. Gratitude for your breath, for your unique journey and gifts on this planet.
How is your health? With the Health and healing axis almost at the anorectic degree, or in laymen’s terms acritical degree being highlighted during this full moon I feel that there is a dramatic ending to a health crisis, which can be good news in this current climate. It’s also almost at the end of the zodiac. Big endings, climatic, dramatic, dispersals of energy. I sincerely hope that this full moon brings the beginning of the end of the pandemic with it. Perhaps it's wishful thinking, but anything is possible with Piscean energy.
What are you ready to let go of? I suspect this full moon will bring its share of dramatic endings along with it. What do you intuitively since is about to end for you?
How do you serve your community without expectations in return? Is it ok for you in turn to ask for support when you need it? How does that vulnerability feel in your body?
How can you consciously connect with your dreams? What comes up for you when you think about living your ideal life? Write it down. How might that have changed over the last 6 months since the new moon in Pisces? Create from a place of peace and accept that there are many things you cannot control, but you can control your thoughts and refuse to feed the negative news cycle. This doesn’t mean ignore atrocities or sticking your head in the sand. It’s saying yes these things exist and despite them, I choose to love. That’s real magic.
