Tarot card reading is a form of cartomancy whereby practitioners use tarot cards to gain insight into the past, present or future. They formulate a question, then draw cards to interpret them for this end. A traditional tarot deck consists of 78 cards, which can be split into two groups, the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana.
I personally use 4 decks at this time, the Rider–Waite tarot deck, Motherpeace, Tarot Mucha, and the Witches' Wisdom. You may pick which deck I use to do your reading.
The Rider–Waite tarot deck is a widely popular deck for tarot card reading. Based on the instructions of academic and mystic A. E. Waite and illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith, both members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, the cards were originally published by the Rider Company in 1909. This deck is the gold standard and I have often been suprised at it's accuracy.
The Motherpeace Tarot is a deck of tarot cards inspired by the Goddess movement and second-wave feminism. Motherpeace was created by two women from Berkeley, California, Karen Vogel, and Vicki Noble, friends who had studied anthropology, women's studies and history. This deck, in my opinion, is very accurate for women.
An extraordinary tribute to art nouveau pioneer Alphonse Mucha, this deck embraces the fresh beauty of the dawning of the twentieth century along with the eternal wisdom and understanding of the tarot. Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist, living in Paris during the Art Nouveau period, best known for his distinctly stylized and decorative theatrical posters, particularly those of Sarah Bernhardt. He produced illustrations, advertisements, decorative panels, as well as designs, which became among the best-known images of the period. This deck is hands down gorgous.
Deluxe tarot radiant with mystical energy by renowned American Wiccan Priestess Phyllis Curott, illustrated by UK Hedgewitch Danielle Barlow. A new interpretation of the Tarot blending the divine magic of nature with modern Witchcraft, offering spiritual insight and life-changing wisdom to awaken the Witch within. Follow the guidance of this healing, inspiring, and empowering Tarot deck, and let it awaken the magic within you!
Once you choose your deck you can ask your question and we will draw three cards and interpert them and discuss how they relate to your question.
Come see what the spirits have to tell you!
Love and LightSkye
Feel free to ask any questions that you may seek answers to. Or if you are simply intrigued by the results of what the cards may hold for you.
