What is depression?

"Depression is one of the most common types of mental health conditions that frequently develops adjoining anxiety."
Stress develops into Depression.
Depression can be mild & short-lived or severe and long-lasting.Some people are affected by depression only once, while others may experience it multiple times.
If you are sad sometimes, it's normal but if you're sad often, that's depression.
If you're sometimes angry or feel tired that's normal but if you are everytime tired and fed up of everything that's depression.
Let's see a practical example, let's pick up something like a pen, paper weight or a cup of tea or your glass of water. Keep holding it with your arm straight. Keep it right there for 3 minutes, it will start making you feel fatigue. If you keep doing so for 5 to 10 minutes, it will make your arm paralysed(for a while). You will that it's weight is increasing with time, but it's practically not increasing.Such is the case with stress. The more you keep it, the more & more it weighs on your brain & more damages it.So, it's essential to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Along with the medicine and therapies, you must have to do some personal effort to overcome stress. Here's how :
You just have to keep your brain calm. Always involve yourself to such activities that get your attention out of worries and put you in a situation where there's no room for them. There are a lot of things to do to make yourself happy it maybe
~ a paper & a pencil to draw whatever you want
~ let's cook/bake something special just for yourself
~ close your eyes, take deep breaths and say : " I'm the strongest person, all is good, I'm feeling very good."
~Youga / Exercise
