Living your truth, is there such a thing?
“In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.”
This quote by Rumi, a Sufi mystic and poet, perfectly depicts the power of poignant words. I think that those of us who are still breathing life force, will have felt something similar in our lives. But how do we express it?
Not everyone can play with words the way that great poets do. Words are not necessary, even the understanding from the most common words turned into action, will suffice. We all see people who express themselves every day, but are we ready to listen?
When we practice sincere listening, we are not necessarily doing it for the sake of others, but for the sake of our own soul, so that we may be able to listen to our higher selves with sincerity. In these moments of clarity, we can also experience this light that teaches us love. When this Divine dance embraces us, we do not need the music of other people to make us move.
We move independently from the fears and judgements of others and in so doing, move independently from our own. To be ourselves is the most difficult thing to do, because we were not taught how to listen to who we really are. May we find the courage to break through to the core of our own being. We are not all the same, but essentially, we are one…
When more of us open to the enigmatic purity of our inner beings, we will naturally raise the awareness of the rest of planet earth. There is just one catch, it is useless if it is not shared!
Imagine chocolate was never shared and kept a secret! Even sweeter than chocolate is the warm embrace of the unfathomable peace.
Live your truth and share its fruits…
