You don't need me to tell you we live in a very stressful world. Every week I ask my students if they feel they are living in a stressful world. I have had no one as yet put their hand up and say it isn't. And the stress seems to be getting harder and harder to deal with.
We are in the midst of an enormous technological change. We are also seeing big changes in the climate cycle, the financial industry and the military industrial machine. When we look at the world, most of us just want to turn the other way and give up. But there is another way. There is something that is deep inside of you that is unique to the world. You just need to find it and express it.
When you realise who and even what you are, that starts to bring in a sense of wonder. That sense of wonder, and our imagination, is getting lost in a swirl of stress and anxiety that many people are finding it hard to break out of. Our ancestors used to call the world that was not important to us the 'Mia'. This is roughly translated as illusion. Many people say that everything is an illusion, and to some extent, that could be said to be true. But let’s look at this from another perspective.
What happens to you feels very real. But how much of it is perception and how much is reality. Our perception has been hijacked by endless distractions and this does not need to be the case. We seem to have lost what we actually are here to do on earth because of these distractions. My humble opinion is that our ancestors meant that all the outside forces are the illusory world, and that what we are experiencing, right now in this moment, is our reality as a human being. It is happening for a reason.
Governments come and go. Natural disasters come and go. Wars come and go. Rather like our thoughts, feelings and emotions come and go. So many things are transient in our world. That is not to say that any of them are not important, because they are. But they can be a distraction to you and you own path to what you are supposed to be doing here.
In my Qi Gong practice, we call this 'Chun Wa'. This means soul completion. That is living your best live to your highest potential while doing what you are supposed to do on the earth. Finding this truth inside you can be obtained through the body with the practice of Qi Gong. I teach a Korean version of this healing art from and it is so much fun.
Many spiritual practices go very deep into the esoteric realm. I find this very confusing. I have had outer body experiences and have tried so many different ways to get me back to that burdenless, light, loving feeling, that I can only describe as the most amazing experience I have ever had. I have been looking for ways to get me back there, and have had a modicum of success with this.
I have found after many years of training, and even more as an instructor, I can sense that Samadhi meditation for very short periods of time. Like I am not in my body, but everywhere in the room. And not even in the room, words fail me, but I am there just as conscious existence. It is a beautiful state to be in. How did I get here? I used Qi Gong and sound healing.
When we start to focus on our energy body, and realise it is just as important as our physical body, our perception of this world changes. To stop the distractions of the Mia, you can turn things off, like the TV for instance. And then you can have 100% focus on what you have to do, and how you are going to achieve this in this difficult world. You realise your own power inside of you, and you also see the true potential of the people around you.
You realise you are the star of your movie. And other people who are in your life are playing supporting roles. You treat them with the utmost respect, dignity and grace. You see that if they were not there, you would not be in your starring role. And they see you as the same. As they are playing the starring role in their movie. We are connected on a very deep level to everything, but we are also sovereign at the same time, which makes this fascinating to work out for yourself.
I do offer a coaching session here on Core Spirit with a short explanation of Qi Gong together with live Qi Gong classes. If you want to try this noble art for yourself then give it a go. It is fascinating combining the mind, the body and breath together. And if it is the first time you have experienced something like this, you will love it.
I look forward to meeting you very soon.
Until then, be well and keep shining.
