Being Ageless Starts In Your Mind

Everyone grows older and eventually dies; it’s just the natural way of life. However, how a person deals with aging is a whole other story and entirely up to the person. Your brain has the power to make you ageless.

If you have the right mindset, you can make it, so you hardly notice you’ve aged at all. In this article, we’re going to provide you with everything you need to start putting yourself in an ageless mindset.

How Can a Positive Mindset Make You Ageless?

Of course, we don’t mean that it can literally make you ageless, but it can certainly make you feel as if you are! One of the biggest complaints amongst those over the age of 50 is the feeling of deterioration, decline, and the feeling of being unwanted or not useful that so often comes along with aging.

Your mindset is a big part in how you cope with that and, also, how you can work to combat it. If you keep your mind focused on the positive things your age has brought you (like wisdom, understanding, and the ability to better help others) and work diligently to maintain good physical health, you won’t notice your aging a bit. Plus, it will greatly improve your overall outlook on life, as well as your quality of life.

Ignore the Culture Surrounding You

We live in a world obsessed with youth. Every day, older people are pushed to the side in favor of the younger generations. People are seen as being in their prime when they’re in their late ‘teens and early twenties. Those who are older than 30, tend to frequently lie about their age, trying to make it seem like they’re part of the favored, younger group.

In order to get past this and actually start living with an ageless mindset, you have to do your best to tune it out. You have aged to the best state you’ve been yet. You’re wizened and seasoned. Stop denying your aging and own it; that’s what will truly make you ageless.

Love Your Body and Own Your Age

The only way to ensure you keep having the ageless mindset is to continue to love your body and remind yourself that you are getting better with age. There’s no such thing as perfection for humanity; we make mistakes, learn, and grow throughout our lives.

An important part of keeping yourself in the ageless mindset is loving and appreciating your body for what it does for you and how far it has gotten you. Every day that you’re alive, you learn something new and adapt to changes around you. The first step in keeping an ageless mindset is loving your body for all its many years and experiences and appreciating it.

Never Say ‘Never’

The number one thing that will knock you off your track towards an ageless mindset is negativity. We psych ourselves by telling ourselves that we’re too old to do something, too set in our ways to learn something, and even that we’re simply too old to be of value.

These thoughts are toxic and highly dangerous to the positive outlook you’re trying to maintain. You are capable of doing anything you put your mind to; now, it may take you a little extra effort to get there, but if you make the effort, you can accomplish it.

Never listen when that negative voice inside your head tells you anything negative about your abilities, your worth, or your age.

How you deal with aging is entirely up to you: you be in denial about the fact that you’re getting older by lying about your age and dying your hair, or you can embrace your age for all the wonderful things it has brought you and move forward with a positive mindset with have you feeling ageless.

The Joy of Simple Pleasures

In the fast-paced world that we live in, we all need to experience the joys of simple pleasures. It can be a great stress-reliever to take a few moments to enjoy the sensory pleasure of the beauty around us. Here are a few simple pleasures that you should experience at least once in your lifetime, but as often as possible.

\* Smell freshly cut grass. This activity is a pleasure to the senses. It causes the feeling that summer has arrived and brings you back to nature.

\* Walk in the rain. Do this once and you will begin to make plans for another every time you see the forecast calling for rain. It is a beautiful feeling to have the rain against your face and soak you to the core as you get outside for a stroll. Jump in a few puddles while you’re at it.

\* Have a candlelit bubble bath. This enhances your feelings of sensuality. It brings you back to the basic pleasures of treating yourself gently and with care. Everyone deserves to feel this way.

\* Watch the sunrise. Whether you stay up all night to watch this happen or simply wake up early enough to see it, make this an occasional part of your schedule. It is amazing to view.

\* Swim in the ocean. Pools are fun, but swimming in the ocean feels like the way it is truly supposed to be. Even if you are doing more playing than swimming, it is a special feeling to splash around in the beauty of the ocean.

\* Blast and sing your favorite song alone in the car. Don’t try this with other people, though, because it will be difficult to feel free enough and you risk annoying everyone. When you are driving alone, turn up your favorite song and sing like you are Whitney Houston.

\* Have a dance party with disco lights. Whether you are doing this with your family or alone, there is no feeling like putting on a disco ball and having a dance party at home. This is where you can be free to explore all your cheesy or funky dance moves to a variety of music.

\* Wake up without an alarm clock. Many of us are constantly waking up early to get ready for jobs and extracurricular activities. Make sure you get at least a few mornings per month to sleep in and wake up when your body tells you to.

\* Choose the extra-large size. We are constantly telling ourselves to make healthy decisions. If you are someone who chooses the small milkshake and refrains from the big ones, give yourself one opportunity to make the switch. This is not something you should make a habit of, but it certainly feels satisfying to do at least once.

\* Have a wrapping paper fight. Whether you are celebrating a birthday or Christmas, scrunch up all the wrapping paper and have a fight. This is a crazy little game that is fun enough to end up becoming a yearly tradition.

\* Make a snow angel. This is not just for kids. If you live in a climate that is suitable for this activity, put on your snow pants and get to it. You will love how it feels to look at your completed snow angel and know that you created it.

Life is full of stress. It is time to have some fun and take joy in the simple things in life. Use these ideas to give you a head start in the direction of simple, joyful living. Remember, Live Your Full Life! 🦋

Coronavirus Stress Relief Using Emotional Freedom Techniques

Emotional Freedoms Techniques (EFT) is a widely respected, well-researched way to help you end emotional and physical distress and pain. Developed by Gary Craig, EFT is also known as “tapping.” EFT helps to correct energy flow in your body to relieve stress, pain, physical ailments and to improve physical and mental performance.

EFT is Based on Chinese Meridians

In Chinese medicine, ailments are the result of disruption to the flow of the body’s energy. These energy paths, or meridians, control our body’s emotional and physical health. Any disruption in the flow of energy can cause stress and pain.

There are 12 meridians on each side of the body. Every meridian corresponds to an internal organ. When the energy flow through a meridian is disrupted, people experience emotional and physical stress. This stress can translate into anxiety and pain.

EFT restores the flow of energy through the meridians by concentrating on energy hot spots near the endpoint of each meridian. By correcting the energy flow, people experience relief of emotional and physical symptoms.

Why Tapping?

Unlike acupuncture, which focuses on physical causes for energy flow disruption, EFT corrects the emotional breaks in the meridians. Tapping restores energy flow at set points in the meridians that correspond to emotional breaks. EFT allows a person to correct emotional issues and receive improved physical and emotional health.

Different types of taps, from gentle to forceful, correct the meridians and restore energy flow. Fixing the energy flow helps to create a positive attitude and a healthy body. Balanced energy flow throughout the meridians improved overall well-being.

Research

Many universities, including Stanford and Harvard, have studied the underlying basis of EFT. Similar to research for acupuncture, energy flow within the body, and the harmful effects of meridian disruption have been studied and documented. EFT has undergone multiple peer reviews with repeated positive results. Because EFT has minimal side effects, it has become a useful tool for alternative medicine. Some people do not experience benefits from EFT, usually because they have not adequately learned how to do the technique. A very small percentage of people (less than 3%) have experienced some emotional distress from tapping. They may have deep-rooted negative emotional experiences that require multiple forms of treatment and are not receptive to EFT alone. Most studies show that EFT is effective for emotional and physical ailments and helps a wide variety of people all over the world.

Benefits of EFT

EFT can help end emotional pain from anxiety, PSTD, and phobias. Restoring the meridian energy flow throughout the body allows the mind to overcome these challenges. EFT also improves or relieves many types of pain, including migraines, muscle pain, and stomach upset. EFT can help people to manage the stress and strain of chronic conditions. These physical ailments are thought to be caused by negative emotions that disrupt the body’s physical energy flow. Overall, people reported more profound relief and longer-lasting results using EFT than by only using various forms of traditional medicine, including pills and therapy.

Because EFT restores energy flow, many participants have reported improved physical performance. Athletes and those looking to lose and maintain their weight have been helped by EFT. Many physical problems that limit a healthy lifestyle are based on negative emotions. EFT helps correct the meridian flow, balances energy, and can lead to improved physical functioning.

Performing EFT

Trained EFT practitioners can help you get started performing EFT. You can also perform EFT on your own.

EFT involves five steps:

1. Identify the Issue

2. Access the Intensity

3. Self-Acceptance

4. Tapping Sequence

5. Test the Final Intensity

To correctly perform EFT, you must first identify and understand what emotional issue or fear is blocking your energy flow. EFT is performed on one issue at a time so that a person can experience and gauge their improvement results. Next, rate your issue on a scale of 1 to 10 for how much distress your issue is causing you. This allows you to determine how effective your EFT session has been when it’s completed.

Your EFT session statement focuses on both the issue and your acceptance of yourself, despite the issue you are facing. An EFT statement might be, “Even though I have (this issue), I completely accept myself.” Your EFT statement becomes your mantra during your session.

The tapping is done along the meridian lines at hot spots that correspond to your emotional issue. Practitioners can help you develop the right combination of tapping intensity to restore your energy flow. Once your session is completed, you again rate your distress, to judge your improvement from the session. Dropping from a level 10 to a level 5 means you’ve achieved a 50% improvement.

EFT can help you change your life. With proper practice, it can relieve emotional and physical pain by restoring the energy flow through your body’s meridians. EFT is a proven alternative medicine technique that has helped countless people find hope, healing & peace! 🦋

You can place gemstones and crystals on your body or around you. Trust that you will receive exactly what you need at that moment.
Use your favorite essential oil. Essential oils can raise our vibration and open the chakras for further healing.
You can clear your space with sage.

🌙. I want to help hold a safe space for you to go deep into your truth and your shadow to uncover what it is. This emotional clearing session is like shining a flashlight on your stuck emotions causing negative patterns, self sabotage, or fear of success. As we shine a light we create movement so we can let go of what we don’t want.

🌙. If we don’t process our old emotional wounds, when life throws curves at us, it is like having a wound on our body and throwing salt in it. It stings. Instead of ignoring that comment someone made, it brings us back to the time of the wound in the past even if we don’t realize it. Subconscious emotions are stored in our body and brain where they can bubble to the surface.

🌙. We will identify exactly what stuck emotions are getting in the way of you feeling calm and relaxed using the Emotion Code framework and clear those. We will also do a short guided exercise/meditation where I will send reiki to both your nervous system and any past events that need healing as well.

🌙. You are precious; treat yourself accordingly. You are worth taking the time to treat yourself to self-care. What can you take off your plate to make room for taking care of yourself and remembering your magic?

🌙. Our bodies are 55% water and we need plenty of pure, filtered water every day so please hydrate well before and during your session.

When the Root Chakra energy is vibrant and flowing well, we have a great connection to the earth and feel reassured.We are not struggling to feel safe and secure. We just are! This Chakra and energy governs our survival and stability, controlling fight or flight responses.

Day 2 : Sacral Chakra
This Chakra and energy governs our emotions. It is linked to our feelings, creativity, sensuality, and sexuality. When this energy is vibrant, we embrace and enjoy life .We can easily let go of situations without excessive dwelling, and we can express ourselves without being selfish or cruel. We tend to ooze happiness and find joy everywhere!

Day 3 : Solar Plexus Chakra
