I was recently asked to expose the dark side of massage therapy.

After much thought, I have decided to do exactly that.

I am going out on a limb with this.

But it is only right that you should know the truth.

Where should I begin?

I can’t think of anywhere better than at the beginning.

That’s where the client disrobes everything in preparation for the dark side.

That’s where the client positions themselves upon the massage table in anticipation of the dark side.

And then, the Massage Therapist enters into the dark side.

Darkness so piercing that no sunlight penetrates through.

Darkness so significant that inside radiance fails to extinguish it.

Darkness so surreal that the Massage Therapist must move carefully.

Else in stumbling, they fall to their knees in discomforting pain because of the dark side.
