Each Autumn/early Winter we offer our Level 1/1st Degree Shoden Courses. Due to the diary being planned well ahead with regular support groups and 2nd and 3rd degree courses, we find this time of year works best for our Level 1 Courses.
All our courses may be taken either inhouse or online (Zoom) depending on current government restrictions, and this is because Reiki energy see's no bounds, in-fact, it is often said, that if anything, Reiki is stronger distantly, 'remotely', as it bypasses the teacher! We know that we can distance heal, something that may sound incredible to those not practiced in Reiki, but believe me distance healing certainly works, and is a very powerful healing tool! So, if we can distance heal, then why would we not be able to do distance, 'remote', empowerments? Well we can! Ask any students training alongside me for further confirmation of this.
This course is ideal for those who wish to begin their self-healing and spiritual development journey with Reiki. At 1st degree you start to build a spiritual practice into your life, with daily energy meditations and self-healing. The practice supports good health and happiness and can be taken as a beginner course, for those new to Reiki or seen as an advanced course for those that have previously taken a Western Reiki Level 1, 2 or 3 course, and feel they are now ready to develop themselves more spiritually and heal themselves on a deeper level.

Reiki Level 1 is the start of a beautiful relationship – a relationship that will only guide you, support you and continue to invite you to go deeper. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know yourself on a new level and become aware of how your body is continually speaking to you.
Reiki is simple to learn but it is an amazingly powerful healing technique for calming and re-vitalising your mind, body and spirit, for relieving stress and pain, for increasing your well-being and for bringing deeper insight, healing and balance to yourself, your family and friends.
You will learn how to transform your own energy and support others for self-healing and growth.
Course Outline:
Reiki is a energy healing system that balances the mind and emotions, promotes relaxation, helps to improve overall wellbeing, improves sleep, reduces pain and stimulate the body's innate healing abilities. Reiki helps with emotional issues such as anxiety, stress and grief; and, when used regularly, can help you cope better with life's difficulties and be more resilient.
A Reiki treatment is usually deeply relaxing, balancing and harmonizing of body and mind, providing a sense of comfort and peace.
Reiki does not have to be hands-on only. It can also be performed over a distance, where the practitioner and the client are not in the same room or even the same country. We are all made up of energy and therefore connected to each other energetically. As Reiki practitioner, I will tap into this connection and allow the healing energy to flow to you. To better understand how Reiki over a distance works, you can think of the waves of the ocean. Each wave can be seen individually, and they act independently, but all waves are made up of water and form part of the same immense body of water. We are the waves, and the universal energy is the water that connects us. Therefore no matter where I am and where you are, we are still connected.
What to expect from a distance healing session:
I will send you a few basic questions for my client records and insurance purposes. At the agreed time of our appointment, make yourself comfortable. You can be seated or lying down. You will remain fully clothed, but please remove your shoes (you can leave socks on). Set a timer on your phone for 45 minutes. That way, you can put your phone on silent so that you will not be interrupted but will still know when the session has come to an end.
At the agreed-upon time, I will start the session. People experience Reiki differently, but most feel either heat or cold in an area, a slight not unpleasant pressure, tingling sensation, or see colours or images. Others don't feel anything or a mix of sensations. Sometimes the effect of Reiki is dramatic, and at other times more subtle and noticed only after a while. All of this is normal. Do not overthink what you are feeling (or not feeling). Just try to relax and know that Reiki is doing the work.
After 45 minutes, the therapy will come to an end. You may wish to communicate with me about the experience you had and I will also feed back to you what I sensed. Other people prefer to process the session for a few hours or even a day before reaching out to me. It is up to you how you proceed after the session.

I am a Reiki Level 2 Practioner, with the necessary professional indemnity insurance. I obtained my qualification from the Reiki Acadamy London in the Usui Shiki Ryoho (Western) and Usui Reiki Ryoho (Japanese) Lineages. I am an associate member of the UK Reiki Federation.

Angelic Reiki Healing is a profoundly relaxing and uplifting experience, and can be carried out distantly anywhere in the world (people are often surprised how powerfully they feel the energy when they are relaxed in their own home and receiving Angelic Reiki distantly).
If you have long standing problems, be they emotional or spiritual, you will require a series of treatments to be truly beneficial. I tend to book clients in for 3 sessions, which can be weekly or fortnightly. In a remote Reiki session (enkaku Reiki) a Reiki practitioner will use a specific method putting Reiki energy into an absent receiver. Remote Reiki sessions have the same effectiveness, and cause the same relaxation, as face-to-face sessions.
The remote Reiki session that I offer has three different parts:
1. Ten minutes before the session I will send you a message to remind you to be ready and offer you some advice for the session.
2. You will lie down in a comfortable and quiet place. You can use relaxing music if you feel like it. For about 50 minutes I will do enkaku Reiki (remote Reiki) to you. During this part of the treatment you can experience different sensations: Relaxation, dreaminess, sadness, joy, happiness, fear, changes in body temperature, dreams, or small muscle spasms, although these are not very frequent. You will probably fall asleep.
3. I will wait a few minutes and then I will call you on Skype, WhatsApp, or Facetime. I will share with you the sensations that I had during the session. In addition, we will talk about the best steps to take to solve or improve the situation, illness, or reason for which you have requested the session.
The Reiki session usually lasts one hour and fifteen minutes, although it can last a little longer.

As well as learning the symbols, you will learn several methods of distant healing, all about the healing response, further Japanese Reiki techniques, symbology, scanning, hands positions for treating others and the various ways of applying Reiki, amongst many other topics.
In your comprehensive manual you will find information the use of crystals in Reiki and homoeopathic first aid. You will also be taught about the practicalities of setting up a professional practice. After the course you will be encouraged to present three cases to show that you have developed a deep understanding of the Reiki process and of working with others. If you wish to actively use Reiki in the lives of others or simply deepen your ability for self healing, then this course is for you.

Reiki is an energy healing practice that uses universal source energy to inspire the natural healing of the body, mind, and soul. Reiki healing will balance your energies on a non-physical level and encourage natural holistic healing.

Physically, Reiki can soothe aches and pains, help you feel lighter and centered, and help manage ongoing illnesses. On an emotional level, it will help you release emotions, remove harmful chords, reprogram the subconscious mind, reduce anxiety and depression, and balance your logic and emotions. On a spiritual level, it will help you meditate better, assist your chakra balancing, and help you experience more intention in your life.
What to expect: For your session, there will be a call where we will discuss your intentions, specific issues you want to address, what you would you like to release, and what you would like to bring in your life. Then the healing session will be a full 30 minutes. After the session I will tell you how it went and the recommendations I have to continue your healing work. Block out around 45 minutes for the session in completion.
This session will be a distance healing session. You will be in your own home, laying comfortably and I will be channeling your healing from my home. I will channel Reiki energy across time and space to naturally balance and heal your body and spirit. Healing like this is possible because Ki, universal source energy, is outside the realm of distance or time.
Because Reiki is a natural healing process, things will not completely change or disappear overnight. For best results, you should have Reiki healing sessions either once a week or once a month on a regular basis.
Everyone’s experience with Reiki is different. Some people feel the healing as it is happening, and some do not. Either way, you can rest assured that every session completed will be successful. :-)
Things to keep in mind:
During the session, you should sit and meditate or be in a still relaxed position. If you cannot do so, that is ok and the session will work just as well.

Sound meditation is a form of focused awareness type of meditation. One kind that has become more popular is called “sound baths,” which uses Tibetan singing bowls, quartz bowls, and bells to guide the listener. These practices highlight themes of how the experience of sound manifests not only through hearing but through tactile physical vibrations and frequencies.
