It has always surprised me that numerology is not as popular as astrology, and sometimes I blame people’s fear of maths on holding it back. So, I am on a personal mission to simplify this process, to make it more accessible to the everyday person and to enable them to put this system into aligned action. This is as stripped down as I can make it without completely butchering this beautiful study.

Let’s start with the basic — what is numerology? In short, it is the spiritual study of numbers and how they can impact our lives (similar to how astrology studies the stars and planets). I choose to use Pythagorean Numerology because even though the name may give you flashbacks to high school maths, it is the simplest version of numerology and we love simplicity.

So, we now know we are studying numbers… where can we find said numbers? This depends on what you want to know, but the key areas are:

• Dates — this could be birthdays, company launch dates, or really any date you choose
• Number Patterns — a great way at developing your intuitive skills. And these can be found everywhere
• Names — all words have energy behind them and we can unlock this code using a numerology alphabet

Great, so now that we know where to find these numbers, what can we do with this information? This is where things get exciting in my world because this information is like receiving (or creating) a cheat code for your life or your business. Each of these topics can (and will) be an article on their own, so if you want more details, just pop me a message. In short, we have:

• Birth charts — This is the most popular use of numerology whereby using your full name and birthdate we can create a full chart detailing everything from your life purpose, how you achieve said purpose, the karma you are here to heal, how you react when stressed. Basically your own personal blueprint of you.
• Brand Charts — This is what I do, and I love it. Just like your birth chart, your brand chart is a numerologically infused brand strategy, coding your brand for the success you want. We create your brand purpose, positioning, character, value and tone using this system and can even guide your colour pallette selection. Why I love it — well, all of a sudden a strategy takes days rather than weeks to write and is completely cosmically aligned and attuned.
  – Year and Month cycles — Want to have access to your own (or your business’s) divine timing? Or, what about creating goals or business plans within minutes that work within this flow? How about having a morning ritual laid out for you that keeps you in flow and naturally creates daily journal prompts giving you deeper insight into yourself? Or, knowing the perfect time to launch your next product or service? Well, this is the joy of tapping into the the numerology year and month cycles. And now, for the moment you may have been waiting for… what do these numbers mean? I promised to keep it short, and so I have popped the details into a free numerology cheat sheet. But for those who can’t wait, here’s the gist. We have two sets of numbers:

• General numbers = the numbers one through nine as each number is unique. We use this in all areas of numerology.
• Master numbers = the numbers 11, 22 and 33. These are only used in your purpose and destiny (aka your why and your how).

These meanings are likely to feel familiar to you as you will see it everywhere in life:
1 = leadership / new beginnings
2 = collaboration / balance
3 = creative expression / communication
4 = building processes / systems
5 = exploration / change
6 = nurturing / love
7 = learning / spiritual development
8 = success / manifestation
9 = letting go / endings
11 = intuition / psychic abilities
22 = master architect / transformation
33 = enlightened nurturer / unconditional love
