Learn to love your body, be confident and be proud, don’t worry about what other people are doing or saying, look at yourself in the mirror and tell your self “ I am beautiful “, ” I am proud”, “I am unique”, “ I Love who I am and I am happy”.

Don’t change anything about your body if you are happy about your body, and don’t want to change anything about it, it doesn’t have to be perfect, and nobody is, remember that.

Don’t ever change for anyone else, unless there is something YOU really want to change about your body or diet, and for health reasons, not because you are comparing yourself to someone else, or want to be like someone else, or have what they have.

Every time you see a post, a video or blog about what seems to be a perfect body, remember that, it is all about pose, unhealthy, unsustainable diets and hours at a gym on a workout, not too many people can uphold.

Social media as friendly as it can be, can also be poisonous to the mind, giving you the wrong impression and idea about what the “ perfect ” body should look like.

As long as you are happy with what you look like, and you can be proud and dress up every single day, that is what is important.

Find a sustainable lifestyle that suits you and that you enjoy eating, as long as it is balanced and it makes you feel good, and you feel you are benefiting from it, then stick to it.

Don’t swing in and out of all the diets that you see everyday, trying the quick fixes, those do not work. It is guaranteed, and you may lose weight but you are sure to put it back on, when you start to eat fractionally normally again, because those restricted diets are difficult to sustain, it puts to much stress on your body and not every one is cut out for it.

We are all different, and we should respect and honor the fact that you are not the same as the girl next door, maybe she idolizes you, ever thought about that ?

Sometimes it feels dark inside your mind, your heart feels heavy, the weight on your shoulders is too much, you feel there is no hope, no light, you feel like giving up..

Well let me tell you something, that is not a choice, giving up…. is never a choice!

Get up, DO NOT press the snooze button, make your bed, have a shower, get dressed, take out your journal, a piece of paper, anything to write down your goals, the tasks you want to get through, your dreams, your vision, just write it down, let it out!!

Don’t tell me you don’t have any….We all have them, we all have dreams and visions we think about, wish we had..

Well, stop wishing, and start Acting, this is your Life.

Begin by writing down your goals for that day, for tomorrow, for the rest of the week, for the month…build up your goals to reach your bigger dream. Start small and build it up, once you get going, you will see how it explodes into a new light of possibility and great opportunity.

Have determination, drive, a positive mind set and believe you will achieve it, change your mind set, the universal laws of attraction are REAL!

The negative thinking, the negative inner voices you listen to, putting yourself down, thinking you are not good enough, that will all portray in your day to day life, for as long as you allow it and don’t put a stop to it, and recondition your mind to start thinking differently.

Yes, I know it is hard, it is years of reconditioning that needs to be reset, new ways of thinking need to be installed and believed, but let me tell you, your life will make a turn, and once you do it, you will never go back, and you will want to keep improving yourself, and you will attract goodness into your life.

Enough of dreaming and wishing, make the change!

Show Yourself a Little Love

I realized today that while I was feeling as though I am not doing enough everyday to grow my business and focus on the important things to me that I want to achieve, that I was in actual fact doing just that.

By saying it out loud and telling someone my story, I realized I should be damn proud of myself, and that I have been working hard and doing something everyday that will get me to reach my dream.

I found myself smiling, this great sense of achievement came over me.

Just because so many people around you are achieving what seems like everything, and your day to day seems slow and not happening overnight, it doesn’t mean you are not doing everything you can.

Goals are steps to achieving your dream, and you should be patient and enjoy watching them transpire, and be proud of ourselves every step of the way.

Starting my own business has been difficult, and I don’t care what people tell you, it is a process and it does take time, especially if you want to build something sustainable and from the heart.

I have learnt a lot over the last few months, learnt from errors and successes, and both have been a journey to remember, and that is what it should be about, memories of how you got there, so you can look back and say “ I DID THIS “

With every change we want to achieve in our lives, it will come with hard work and perseverance.

Don’t ever give up, no matter how hard it seems and how hard it gets, sometimes a few other things need to happen in between to teach us whatever we need to learn to get to where we need to be.

And the most important thing to remember is to never doubt yourself, don’t you dare put yourself down or think you are not good enough for this journey, if you feel yourself going there, write down the reasons you are doing this for, and why, remind yourself of this achievement, of your goals.

Be that person that no one thought you could be !

Be The Reason Others Feel Inspired

Ever heard the phrase “ a smile is contagious ” ?

Well, it is, next time you find yourself walking through a crowd, just smile as you walk around, and notice how many people will actually smile back at you, and just by doing something so simple, can change someone else’s day, that one precious smile can change everything else going on in your head, any sadness, negativity, doubt or fear.

Imagine, such a cheap and simple therapy session, and all it took was a smile.

We walk around thinking that everyone else has it easier or better, but in actual fact, everyone is fighting their own demons in their head, their life and thoughts.

Everyone has their own battles, some people just hide it better, manage it better or as some call it, appear to be “bulletproof”, but at the end of the day, we are all human, and everyone has challenges.

In fact, the best way to handle a problem, a challenge, a fear or a doubt is to keep reminding yourself that you are powerful, and you can change the way in which you allow thoughts to enter your mind.

Be more aware of your thoughts, every time you feel a negative, hurtful, doubtful thought tying to enter your mind, stop yourself right there, and choose to change that, turn it around, so that you turn it into a positive, more powerful thinking process.

Some battles will prove to be difficult, they will be a higher mountain to climb, other times, the battles will be small, but either way, you will get through whatever it is that the universe is directing at you to make you stronger, more powerful and more in control.

With every battle, is a lesson, take what you have learned from that lesson, rather than turning it into a self inflicted message to yourself.

We really do create our own destiny by what we feed our minds, so next time you find yourself walking through the crowds with a heavy heart, turn it around, hold your head up high, and put on that big precious smile, it will change not only everyone else’s day around but yours too !

And what a precious gift to give yourself and others, so be the reason that others will feel inspired.

When You Feel Like Giving Up

Don’t despair, Don’t feel bad about having those days where you feel like giving up, it all just feels to overwhelming for you to handle, and you feel running away and giving up on everything is the best and easiest way out right now.

Don’t allow those feelings to run away with your thoughts, it is Ok to feel them, go through them, but get yourself out of that thought process as soon as you feel your mind is running away with the feeling, and it is bringing you down completely.

Let your mind know YOU ARE IN CHARGE !

Focus on the things that do make you happy, that you still want to achieve, write them down, and direct your thoughts to something positive, to inspiring thoughts, the ones you always dreamed about, that would put that smile on your face.

Be in charge and Be strong.

Your sub conscious will run away with anything negative you allow yourself to feel, because more than likely that is what you have always done, it is so common for us to put ourselves down first before we actually say “ I am amazing, incredible and successful, and I can do this “.

Instead we think that everyone else is better, brighter, richer, thinner, happier and more successful.

It is not true! and you must never allow those thoughts to run your life for you, YOU are unique, and YOU can make anything possible, believe in yourself, write it down and spend a couple of minutes every morning and night, before going to bed, reading it and really believing in it and seeing yourself in that moment.

The best way to achieve what you want is to just start, get out there, and do it, do what you have always dreamed about doing and would really love to be doing !

Giving up is not an option, turn that around and make it a reason to be driven and motivated.

Take Back Your Power

Don’t allow your negative thoughts to bring you down, those annoying little voices in your head that stop you from trying to do the things you so want to do but hold you back, that create doubt and fear within yourself and hinder your future, your growth, your full capabilities.

Take back your power, tell yourself you are in control, you control your thoughts and decisions, not your subconscious mind, you see, your subconscious mind will always try to take you back to place of safety.

Your subconscious will always try to protect you, it will always take you to that place of conditioning, it suppresses memories that will create further negative feelings, because they will remain unresolved, you will always spiral in the same vortex of unhealthy mental habits, negative thinking and mental frustration.

You can change the way your sub conscious mind thinks, you need to break the habit.

Change the way in which you speak.

Listen to what you say to yourself, and how you say it.

Be aware of the conversations you have with yourself, your thoughts, do you knock down a great idea straight away by saying you are not good enough ? or you are worried about what people will think or say ?

At the end of the day, it is all about YOU and what YOU want to change about yourself, how far do you want to spread your wings.

Spend your energy on creating vibrant energy for yourself, and within yourself, surround yourself in greatness, remind yourself that you are great, and you can achieve anything, because you can break the bad habit and replace it with a new fresh, healthy one.

Make a list of the things you want to change about who you are right now, and then start every day by changing that one little thing, direct your focus to that one habit, set yourself reminders, write down an affirmation for yourself, and when you wake up, read it out loud, and remind yourself of who you want to be, and who you are working towards becoming.

Start with small daily goals, work your way up to weekly goals, and Take back Your Power !

My Journey through Life...

Battling with self-confidence growing up, being a little over weight, following all the diets that girls did, trying to be as pretty as all the popular girls, as confident as them, as academic, the struggles of trying to fit in at school, somehow feeling like the more I tried, the more I just never did.

Having a somewhat challenging upbringing, moving from place to place, I started to find comfort in actually being different, I followed strange trends, and this somehow followed me throughout my years of growing up.

As I grew older into my 20’s, I started to realize that pushing people away and mixing with the wrong crowds or friends was not the solution.

I wanted to love who I was, I wanted to be confident, but somehow just didn’t know how to.

I felt trapped between a world of knowing I wanted more for myself, and beating myself up about it, finding myself conflicted between the things I wanted to do and achieve and believing or thinking I could never make that happen.

I started to realize that life is difficult but it was up to me to change that, learning from a lot of mistakes and life challenging situations, I started to change and make better choices, become more assertive, think less of what people thought about me.

I started to say “ NO “ more often, stopped making other people happy, I started to accept and love who I was, I started reading books that helped me, I found a passion in exercise and it made me feel alive.

I started to educate myself until I eventually qualified as a Personal Fitness trainer, Sports Conditioning Coach and Ride Instructor, I did a short course in nutrition, and have since become a fully pledged Vegan for 8 years now.

I believe that what we put in our bodies defines how we feel throughout the day, our life, and gives us a clear mind and allows us to feel healthy.

Healthy Body, healthy Mind!

I can proudly say that after years of persevering and working on myself continuously, I changed the things that I was conditioned to believe growing up.

I worried less about the things that didn’t really matter, focused on the things that did, my values changed, I had priorities.

I realized that goals are important, they are not achieved over night but are critical to giving your life direction and purpose, they take time and require your personal dedication, and the desire to really want it.

Focusing on the things I have and want, rather than the things I didn’t have and didn’t want, made a world of difference to my Life.

It attracted good things to my life, It empowered me, I am now happy, my life has direction and I am dedicated to helping others like you break free of the things holding you back.

Exercise yourself to Feeling Good

And this is why I say GET UP…GET UP NOW !! and just dance, put on the music and dance, allow yourself to just feel happy, be in the moment.. feel the joy, the excitement rushing through your veins of just feeling happy and free, right now in this very moment, listen to the music and just let your body move.

Never mind what your partner, husband, family are thinking right now, heck they may even join you, call them in, let them join you, and if not, that is also OK, because this is your time, your time to dance, to be free, to just feel joy, freedom and happiness.

Let go of all inhibitions, let go of the worry, the anxiety, and uncertainties that we are faced with everyday during such a trying time, because it will soon pass and we will all go back to our daily living.

Let us not regret, having had the chance to do the little things that we always complained about not having had the time to do, because now is the time !

This is your chance, and I say right now begin with moving your body, tomorrow it will be a little workout, the following day it will be a little longer, you will start to feel different, you will want to do it, you will feel inspired and energized, what a beautiful feeling !

You will wake up excited, it never has to be difficult just fun, do what works for you, never mind what the rest of the world is doing, what matters is, YOU did it, YOU got up, YOU danced, YOU felt, and now YOU want more.

Don’t look back, look forwards, picture your new you, write down the goals that are important to you, your values and stay on that road of hope, love and light.

Stay focused, stay strong, shine bright, and just smile… yes, for no reason, just smile !

Now is the time to mend that broken Friendship ....

Have you ever stopped to think for a minute what it truly means to have that special friend or friends in your life that you can just about share anything with them, you’re not afraid to just be yourself, because they don’t criticize, they take you for who you are, you laugh, and have fun, share great memories. You can either be laughing out loud or sitting in silence, either way, the time together is appreciated. True Friendship !

I have some wonderful friends in my life, who allow me to just be who I am, I don’t have to talk to them everyday, or see them every week or weekend, but when we reach out to each other in times of trouble, company, fun, or help they/we are there for each other no matter what. They just accept me for who I am.

Life is always taken for granted, but our friends should not be one of them.

As human beings we somehow don’t love conditionally ( and I don’t mean everybody, as i am not here to criticize ) but in most cases it’s just a fact, we have friends based on whether they have the same trends, fashion and mannerisms as us, if they live up to our expectations, based on conditions.

And what is it with that ? why only have a friend based on conditions, why not just have true friends, they will always be the ones that are there for you, no matter what you go through, they will always be honest, they will not judge, and they will always forgive, because to them true friendship based on love, honesty, respect and trust means more than material conditions / expectations.

Being faced with the situation we are in now, shows us just how valuable Friends are, we miss them, we miss being around them, but most of all just seeing them, we feel alone and long for the day everything goes back to normal, where you can meet up for dinner, drinks or a little night out on the town, to laugh, have fun, and just return to Life as it was.

Perhaps now is a good time to think of the friends you let down, or judged for whatever reason or just gave up on, sometimes intentional, sometimes not, but you are just not friends anymore for whatever reason, maybe you had a dispute, and a true friendship was broken and just left undone.

I think now is the time to mend that friendship, send them a message or ring them up, it may just be the best thing you did, maybe you have been thinking about it for a long time, but you dismiss it, like a bad idea. Why ?

They may be feeling the same and thinking the same way.

You may not get the response you were hoping for, but then you can also have closure to the questions in your head, the “ I wander if … ” scenario.

You can be at peace and move on, but maybe you do get the response and you gain the best friendship ever !

Live The Life you Born to Live...

Do you ever feel that everyone around you is living the life they were born to live, they are happy and have everything going for them ?

Well, you probably right, because they probably are.

In order to live that life, you need to stand up to who you are, stand firm by your beliefs, and take what comes with telling people, and facing the music, as they say.

Don’t feel ashamed and worry about what other people think, because while you are doing that, you are losing time, time you will never get back, time that you could be spending energy living YOUR best life, doing what you want to be doing, and being who you truly are. Living YOUR own life.

The hard truth about living this life is, you cannot please everyone all of the time, and unfortunately sometimes telling people something deep and true about yourself, may not appeal to someone else’s beliefs, principals or faith, and you may lose someone dear to you, or they may not speak to you for a while, and for that very reason, you continue to live someone’s else’s life because that is how they feel it should be.

Living by someone else’s standards means you will always be miserable and unhappy, you will always admire other people that have faced the challenges and have come out with the truth about themselves.

There is no easy way, you either live your true honest life, sit down with the ones you love and explain to them where you are coming from, who you are, what you love, how you feel, and that this is YOU, or continue to live a life you are constantly battling with, which makes you feel you don’t belong, can’t fit in, and rather turn to outside means of distraction, that is just detrimental to your health.

The way in which they take the communication once you take the step, is not in your control, remember that, you cannot always control other people’s thoughts and/or actions. Sometimes people need more time to process information, especially if it is close family, and they have always believed you are someone that is just like them, and when they have to face situations outside of that box, they struggle, they see themselves as failures, that they did something wrong.

The truth is, you are your very own UNIQUE person, with your own personality, desires and needs.

Friends and Family need to respect that, no one is put on this earth to be controlled or owned, and if that is how they feel, then maybe you need to just give them the space and time they need, until they realize that what they are losing is much more than just a matter of opinion.

Some will come back and tell you they are sorry, and that they will love you no matter what, some will respect your choice and some will even respect you more for the honesty, and some, well some…. may never come back.

They will soon realize that underneath the hard truth is a beautiful, loved, special, important and strong individual who deserves all the love in the world no matter what their uniqueness is.

Don’t waste time living someone else’s life. Live Yours. be happy. Be genuine. Be YOU !

Be Still and enjoy doing Nothing

Why does it feel like there is pressure to always be achieving something, and if we are not, we feel like failures.

I think that is unfair, and no one should feel that it is not Ok to just do nothing, with so much social media, video’s and live streaming, it feels like we are expected to be doing something all the time.

Maybe you just want to sit and watch movies all day, browse through instagram or facebook stories aimlessly, maybe just lie outside and soak up the sun and stare into nothingness, and I ask, why not ?

Don’t get easily influenced by what you are reading, what people are posting and doing, enjoy their moment, like their posts and move on with a smile. Don’t feel you need to compete, or just because you didn’t workout that day and you are know watching or reading something about exercise, that you should get up and go do it because you are now feeling guilty.

It is Ok, not to always exercise, be reading a book, doing yoga or trying to figure out how you are feeling, baking, learning a new language, or doing an online course, unless you really feel like doing it. It is different if that is what you really want to do, because it will make a world of difference to how much you are going to be enjoying it and applying yourself. If you are just doing it, out of guilt or pressure, then you will just end up feeling more miserable and hating yourself for doing it, and quite frankly not even enjoying it.

Just be still, enjoy the moment you are in, and do what feels necessary to you on that day, the day you woke up and decided this is what I feel or don’t feel like doing today, and then stick to it, set that as your goal for your day. We put so much pressure on ourselves when we set ourselves goals, and they can just be so simple and so enjoyable.

Tomorrow brings a new feeling, a new thought, a new attitude to how you are feeling towards life, and when you go with that intuition, you will fully enjoy what your body and mind are aligned to be doing on that particular day or moment. You will feel more focused, energized, and you will achieve more of your goal.

Don’t feel bad because you are not doing what the rest of the world is doing at that moment.

The moment is about YOU, so sit back, and appreciate what you are feeling and be in touch with the energy around you.
