Was American Society Created with Equality in Mind?

Have you ever watched a Netflix documentary about people being in a cult? Did you ask yourself; how could these people be so blind to the control and manipulation?
Have you ever had a loved one stay in a domestic abuse relationship? Did you often stay awake at night wondering why they couldn’t see through the toxicity and abuse?
From these two examples we see how easy it is for a person to become influenced . We tell ourselves we would never find ourselves in that situation, but we do (as we are human). So many accounts from individuals in both these circumstances inform us how real it is and how frequent it happens. Humans are very susceptible to brainwashing and persuading.
Brainwashing is what created the American society we live in today. We are told what is best for us by those in power and blindly we follow. We are recently discovering that those in power do not want what is best for us. People are opening their eyes to the fact that everything we consume, ingest, breathe, use in some way is full of killer chemicals. Products, foods, and even vaccines are being recalled on the daily. We are constantly finding out something new that was used as a tool to keep us desperate, ill, docile, dumb, and submissive.
Stay with me.
We were told about the American dream and the productive work schedule. We were told how important three meals a day are (humans don’t need that much food, let alone the chemical filled food we are currently given). We were told not to get too much sleep, to get our fluoride (poison) teeth treatments, and to wear our sunscreen full of cancerous chemicals. We were then given the definition of what a perfect woman looks like.

Sexism
In early society (and within other cultures outside of western), women were honored. Women hold so much power within them. When the darkness took over the earth and the elitists rose to the top, that power was recognized, and perceived as a hefty threat. That is when the patriarchy was created and pushed so intently that women today suffer from internalized misogyny. Women are forced to work through the misery of their menstrual cycles. Women are held to a standard of perfection in terms of physical looks. This has been seen in advertising, media, and has affected the self worth of female children, teens, and adults.
Women are just supposed to make less than men and be less than men. “Look beautiful, clean, be bubbly and dumb and certainly don’t question any of this”, they said. And nobody did.

Heterosexism
Those are just some examples of societal conditioning and how easy it is for people in power to get us to do things without questioning. I was recently speaking to an older gentleman who was enraged over seeing a male walking around in full women’s get up. This situation is still all too familiar and at its deepest roots is a personal issue. When you feel bouts of rage by someone’s appearance, actions, things that make them happy that is a YOU problem that you decide to make an everyone problem.
Someone woke up one day and said that “men only wear this and women only wear this” and everyone listened.
Except everyone didn’t listen, they just did it in private.
Millions of people feel the need to hide their authentic selves from the public (and even family). Do you know what a heavy weight that is to carry? Having to alter who you are because “it isn’t right” is enough to make an individual attempt suicide.

Antisemitism
This discussion reminds me of the Holocaust. People despised, dehumanized, and brutally murdered Jewish individuals and for what? Because someone told them to? That may sound like a dramatic comparison, but I assure you it is not. When the Holocaust was over and the amnesia worn away, people were flabbergasted. How could someone treat another human being like a rat? That is what happens in front of our faces all the time when we witness hetero-sexism, antisemitism, ageism, look-ism, able-ism, sexism, and racism (etc.) and the violence that follows.

Racism
The elitists understood early the sheer spiritual power of people of color and therefore enslaved them. Like the patriarchy story above, when power is recognized, it is immediately shut down. (I do not care what history says, this is the spiritual truth which is the truth of life). History books must be questioned as well. Question everything.
Let me provide you with an example/challenge. Say you are in a store and two people are causing a scene. One white person and one black person are both shouting the same exact words and doing the exact same actions. Which one do you make cute little excuses for and whose behavior do you find unacceptable?
Ask yourself, where do your ignorant beliefs come from? “Well, it’s a fact that black people are violent,” some may say.

The following is an excerpt taken from African American Literature Book Club website where people can apparently comment anything.
Posted July 10, 2022
“Statistics clearly show that Blacks commit about 60% of all violent crime in America despite them being 14% of the population. Why is this? No family structure and a community that condones young girls having babies.
Other minorities that come to this country without money and without speaking our language still surpass blacks. Its amazing !!!!
Maybe black women need to find a moral compass and black men have to stop committing violent crime and serious drug offenses?? I think so !
Lets stop making excuses and start acting like mature adults. By the way, using some big words doesn't do anything either. We need to take personal responsibility. Lets stop blaming white people especially since they invented almost everything that makes our lives better.”

This is ignorant and laughable.
If you went straight from slavery to immediate and severe discrimination/oppression for years and years, how would you succeed? Continual violence against you from the police, microaggressions, separated bathrooms, (and much more) will surely affect a person and their success! Decades upon decades later the movement towards your equality is slow and STILL not entirely steady. We are making progress as the old generations die out and we teach the younger ones equality. HOWEVER, the systems still favor the elite, white, able-bodied males.
Not only does racism have an effect individually, but science has finally confirmed (and spirituality always said) that generational trauma is real. When an individual isn’t ready to face and release a trauma, family members down the line are faced with it.
Understanding trauma is an important component to all of this. More on that later.

Unlike what the commenter said above, this is the personal responsibility of white people. If we set up the system to advocate for and encourage pure unfiltered equality with all the same perks and advantages, there would be change. When you set a whole group of people up to fail, they will.
Knowing all that, it really is a no-brainer people would need to use violence to get anywhere. The magnetism to violence may also be due to internalized racism. As someone who experienced internalized misogyny, I know this is a very real experience. When facing so much blatant discrimination you begin to internalize it and believe you are inferior and hopeless. Or you have tried so hard that resistance seems futile.
Now we are even seeing a blatant disregard for homeless people. The streets of Kensington (for example) are filled with people displaying zombie-like symptoms. Why are we dehumanizing these individuals as well? Now that we know the government is not for the people, how could we expect them to positively intervene?

Viewing Discrimination as a Trigger and the Role Trauma Plays
The preceding examples suggests the isms (hetero-sexism, racism, etc.) should be viewed similarly to psychological triggers.
We hear the word trigger often in the psychological realm. According to BetterUp website (2022), a trigger is “a person, place, thing, or situation that elicits an intense or unexpected emotional response” and is not something I usually hear when referring to the isms. Some people are triggered when they see an individual that is different than them. The appearance or action of the other person is a trigger.
Ask yourself, why do I feel triggered by this? Is it societal conditioning? Does it stem from patriarchal programming? Why am I triggered by someone else’s life and business outside of my own? Why does the happiness of someone else make me react in disgust? Am I bitter? What is going on here?
Many people may not even know why they feel triggered. There are a lot of uneducated people who are unable to formulate their own opinions and have only listened to their family. Some people are misdirected by familial and societal conditioning. The cycle continues until someone stops it.

Trauma
Trauma is stored in our bodies, and it doesn’t matter how much we talk about it and analyze it. The only way to release trauma is to feel it and feel it fully. This often requires healing methods such as EMDR that allows a person to relive a situation in a safe space with a professional. When the pain is too much and we repress it our entire lives, it goes to the next person and the next person until someone can feel it and break the cycle. I have been quite obsessed with this topic since I began my healing/spiritual journey.
The point of this article is to encourage different lenses and strategies to be used when trying to eliminate the isms that destroy so many lives. It is like being in recovery. Look at prejudice as a sickness, an addiction. We so often want to be mad at the person, to yell at them and ask, “what is wrong with you?” That does not solve anything.

Similarly, to a domestic abuse situation, you must take the racist (for example) out of the environment, provide education, and therapy. Therapy to take a deep dive of where the belief system originated and the origins of the trigger and pushing education. Education is the end to ignorance. I am not alluding that racism should be treated with the most gentle touch BUT since it is our responsibility and we started/caused it, we need to provide a safe means to recovery. There will be people more susceptible to it than others, but does that mean we do not try? What are we even doing now to stop all this?
I do not speak on this with the wish to be a white savior. As someone with privilege, I know that privilege equals power. Power comes with responsibility. This isn’t Spiderman, this is real life. I was given the gift of privilege and the gift of being well written. There is a responsibility on me therefore to advocate for change. I do not claim to know what it is like to a person of color. I do not claim to know the challenges of LGBTQIA+ individuals. I have however faced oppression due to my psychiatric disabilities, status as a woman and being impoverished.

Why wouldn’t you want someone else to be happy? Why wouldn’t you want to see someone advance? The thought of everyone being able to be their fully authentic selves (and shine every single day) is the most heart-warming thought there is. Why are some people more deserving of this than others? Why do some kids have to grow up and ask their parents what is wrong with them? Who said that skin color (just one example) was an indicator of worth and why did everyone run with it?
It is up to the people to stand together and advocate, educate, and PUSH for change. So many of us are social workers, educators, doctors, and are of helping professions. We must now answer the call to go bigger. THINK BIGGER! God needs you on a level higher than ever before.
Today I hope I have sparked even a glimmer of change in perspective. Right now, we are stagnant. The answer is community. No longer can we rely on those in power. We must take that power. It is not just the elitists world; it is our world! We are headed in the most wonderful direction and your gifts are needed to continue this. Thank you for listening and I pray for compassion and love among all humans.

Is Life on Earth Just a Simulation?

Have you ever had an interest in spirituality? Have you ever questioned if that was your deceased grandmother trying to communicate with you? Have you ever heard that life is a video game? Have you ever heard that life is just a simulation? Let me give you, my piece.
Understanding that we are spiritual beings and understanding components of spirituality will become imperative. Many things are hard to understand and even believe, which is why Divine intervention (the Awakening) is necessary.
As the earth and its inhabitants undergo a clearing of karma, things are intense. Many violent and destructive things are happening across the world that would have people questioning God. Some people may be wondering what is going on. Others may be continuing their pessimistic cycle of thinking, “things will never change.”
You may have heard the term “mass awakening,” that the Earth is undergoing a great awakening. That sounds like an intense and potentially scary thing, but I assure you it is not. It is quite the opposite.
The Great Awakening is all about coming back to self and remembering our Divine roots. There are people on Earth who still think that a human is all that they are. Imagine that! Being a human being on Earth encompasses only one small part of who we are. The awakening is when the amnesia is lifted, and we understand it’s so much more but so simple at the same time. “Who are we then?” you may ask. We are divine beings of light. We are consciousness.
Let me explain.
At the very core, we are beings of consciousness, we are energy. We encompass a soul that is who we are. Therefore, we can embody a vessel-aka a human body (or something else!). I won’t get into the something else part quite yet.
The soul has an ascension journey to embark on. Earth is a wonderful school for that and often times why we end up here. We start off as a young soul not knowing how to be a moral individual.
We have specific things we must work on collectively and individually and it is all kept track of. Every lifetime you come back to earth is another opportunity to heal, learn, and ascend. When you are done with one life time you undergo a life review with a council to review successes and what you can work on next time around.
Going to Earth is voluntary however and our spirits know how challenging it is here. You are a strong individual to sign up to come to Earth to help yourself grow and help the collective.
While we are here, we have a soul mission, often times we get tripped up assuming that is our purpose. We try so hard to find our purpose that it ails us. When we follow our interests, passions, and talents, we will know exactly what we are meant to do. Our body and higher self give us clues in many different ways. Always listen to yourself, when you don’t want to do something or are not interested in something, it is important. We have been conditioned to go against ourselves and that is what created the society we live in today. Anyways.
To help us learn lessons and heal ancestral wounds within our lineage we are sometimes reincarnated as men, sometimes women, sometimes a victim, sometimes an offender. If you are reading this, I am sure you have had many lifetimes on earth. Life I said, we just don’t remember it because that’s part of the game. We have an amnesia put upon us once we leave the womb and we win the prize if we can heal enough to lift the amnesia. When you actively work to heal and be the best person morally and ethically, it just all starts coming together.
Everyone is spiritual, therefore. Plants and animals too. Trees have a consciousness and can be telepathically communicated with. Yes, plants and animals can telepathically talk to us.
Anyways, there is a council you discuss your life with. They decide that Earth will be the best place for you to learn the particular slew of lessons allotted to you this time around. You get to have a say in who will be your parents and siblings, friends etc. All the information is placed within your Akashic record which upon meditation you can have access to.
So, boom. There are certain events, encounters, etc. that are set in stone, but we also have free will. Often there are many different pathways we can take to reach the accomplishment of a lesson. Free will also means that opportunities to learn and change will pop up and you do not have to take them. However, no need to feel guilty. We are always where we are meant to be.
Divine timing is also part of it. Because they know the plan, spirit is always guiding you to your highest and best timeline. Everyone always gets pissed and sad when “bad” or inconvenient things happen but it’s spirits way of either protecting you or stopping you from wasting time.
It sounds like a lonely and difficult endeavor but what some people don’t understand is that we are sent here with lots of help. Everyone has access to it too. It is just that our minds have been filled with so much clutter we can hardly hear the help! Then we even question our body and our intuition!
What I am saying is that we are sent here with a spirit team working with us constantly. We have a guardian angel, spirit guide, (the number of those may vary), passed loved ones who stick with us, ancestors, angels, archangels, beings of divine light.
Because we have free will, spirit cannot do everything for us and make decisions for us. We are always guided, loved, and protected. Spirit is literally always working in our favor as they know the plan and the end goal. They know you well.
Since we have free will we have to ask spirit for more help. In the morning you can wake up and say, “dear guardian angel, I allow you to intervene with my free will to guide me to my highest timeline. Again though, spirit can only do so much.
We are not just here on Earth for no reason. We are here to work on ourselves. We are here to heal ourselves and our lineage. We are here to collectively work together to better our living space. It is not a video game we just have to get through. If that is your perspective, then you will be coming back to Earth a bunch!
We are here to enjoy our time on Earth. We get to enjoy food, emotions, relationships with others, listen to music, run barefoot in the grass, kiss the lips of our lover, feel the cool water of a creek, and much more. The angels devote their life to God and doing work for us. They do not get to taste food. They wonder why we take so many things for granted.
That is all I will go into today. Please let me know what questions you have in the meantime before my next posting! I love you all so much. I always aim to make your life easier, and you are allowed to think I’m crazy!

Five Ways to Be Truly Happy- Earth Cheat Codes Pt. One

Five Ways to Be Truly Happy- Earth Cheat Codes Pt. One

  1. Reaction is a Choice

Unless you have a condition in which you are unable to regulate, the way you react to stimuli is a choice. The way we react when we spill coffee on our pants is a choice. The way we react to someone cutting us off in traffic is a choice. The way we react to our children drawing on the wall is a choice. Do you choose to view such things as the end of the world? Or do you choose peace?
Do you understand that so much is out of our control? When this concept is truly understood, we are more likely to remain calm. Listen to the following example.
You are running late to work, and traffic is going slow. You feel panic and adrenaline gushing through your body like poison. Your heart is racing, and you are screaming at the other cars. Who is in control of this situation? Most certainly you are not. Let me ask you, what is your current reaction doing to change the situation? Let me tell you, absolutely nothing.
When you get to work you are still flustered and you take quite some time to decompress. You enter your first meeting, and you mix up your words. You can’t even think straight.
Imagine if you realized you had zero control over the situation and the way you react has no bearing. This time you choose peace. You call your boss and explain the situation (regardless of how they take it) and you enjoy your drive. We will talk about others’ opinions later. You know that your anger won’t get drivers moving faster. You also know your calmness wont either but if you had to choose one, which would you choose? They are both neutral so why wouldn’t you choose the one that will set you up for a better day? Because you chose peace you walk into work and excel at your meeting. Your head is level, your adrenaline is standard level, and your words are smooth as butter.
We have been conditioned as a society to freak out about everything, to make grandiose reactions and for what? I recently watched a TikTok where a woman had to take food to a work potluck. On her way out the door the Ring camera caught her drop all the food. She had a very calm reaction. Everyone was commenting things like, “I want what medication she’s on.” It really hurt me that much of the population would have an absolute meltdown in that moment.
Ask yourself, what is the worst that can happen and why do I view that as a life-or-death situation?
What happens if you can’t pick up the food off the porch until after work? What if there’s a little time to pick up something new on the way? What if you arrive to work with no food? Is your life in danger or is your image?
Whatever your rebuttal is, I come back with the word so? “Well, seagulls may come on my porch and eat the food while I’m at work.” So??? “What will the neighbors think?” Who cares. “I can’t walk into work without something, everything will think….” Exactly. Its all about image. Which transitions perfectly into number two.

2. Stop Caring About Others’ Opinions

Do you know how badass it is when someone gives no fucks? Why can’t that be you? Insert excuse Really go deep within yourself and ask why can’t that be you?
Obviously, this concept is easier said than done and it may take years to accomplish. Because yet again society has conditioned us to care immensely about image.
Going back to number one, embarrassment is a choice. You can choose whether to be embarrassed about something.
People at live music either dance or they sit down. Many people will not dance out of embarrassment, and they lose out on fun. Inside they are aching to get up and unleash their inner child. Their soul screams at them but they just won’t do it because they don’t want to embarrass themselves. They do not want to hear what others may say about them. When you do not care what others think you are free. Otherwise, you are chained like a slave.
Therapy, shadow work, self-help books, and journal prompts are some ways you can dig deeper. But you must understand where this stems from and how you can overcome it. Did your family squash your authentic self when you were little? Did they tell you your favorite clothes were too much? Did a friend tell you its embarrassing to enjoy anime? Did your father tell you a man can’t enjoy poetry books?
Have you ever felt that ache? Have you ever felt the urge to be your authentic self with no shame? Have you ever given yourself the opportunity to try and to feel the glimpse of freedom? Have you ever gone to a new town and practiced? Its usually easier when we don’t know anyone to do something “embarrassing.” Try it.
I encourage you to try even for thirty seconds a day to release the pressure. I encourage you to find the root of that pressure. I encourage you to be that badass that understands that words, opinions, thoughts, only have meaning if YOU give it to them. Otherwise, a person’s words is just a fart in the wind my friend.
Speaking of roots, we are full of roots. These roots need to be pulled so that we can be free. We are also full of layers, and they too need to go. One of the biggest spiritual lessons is learning how to become our authentic selves. How can we be ourselves when we are covered in gunk? Gunk meaning conditioning, parental expectations, trauma- all the things that mold us into in-authenticity as we age.
How can we remove this gunk when we can’t see it? What if we believe we don’t have any gunk? You are wrong. Every single person on earth has trauma and damn near everyone has experienced conditioning, especially if you live in America. We are sent to this Earth for our souls’ expansion. One component of that is gunk removal. We are to work through our traumas from this lifetime and past.
If you do not think you experienced trauma in this lifetime, a. you are wrong and b. you most certainly did in the last. Although most of us have amnesia regarding our past lives, what we experienced is carried with us. It doesn’t sound fair to have to work out things from this life and others, but it is what it is. How can we combat this? My recommendation is number three.

3. Find a therapist and do it fast.

My opinions on therapy have changed throughout the years. For a while I thought it was stupid and do you want to know why that is? It was because I believed I didn’t have trauma. My eyes weren’t open to it yet. If you are triggered by this advice, then you are my prime student. Triggers=negative reactions=personal issue=unresolved. When someone else’s words or behaviors affect YOU and cause YOU to feel a reaction, that is a personal issue that needs to be looked at.
Trauma has various levels. Trauma is not just sexual assault and war. There are such things as little and medium T’s too. Bullying in middle school causes trauma. Your mom never validating your feelings can cause trauma. Residual past life gunk can cause trauma.
Therapists provide us with outside perspectives and can help open our eyes. They may be the catalyst for you. Even if you have no idea what to talk about when you get there, rest assured they will provide you with something that makes you go “hmm.”
Working on ourselves, bettering ourselves, growing, uncovering, and ascending is why we are here. Pick up a self-help book, see a therapist. Or would you rather have to come back to earth 5903 times until you finally work through the gunk you are avoiding?

4. You have many lifetimes but only one here right now as YOU so GO FOR IT.

As I mentioned, our soul lives many lifetimes. We are energy and energy doesn’t die. You are not the same person in every lifetime, however. Some lives you may be a man and some a woman. Sometimes you may be a perpetrator and some a victim. In this current lifetime you are you and it’s the only time you will be in this specific human suit. I will only ever be Sara Pasterz this one time. I will only ever look exactly like this this one time.
Additionally, many of us will not remember our lifetimes. When we are sent down to earth we are put under amnesia. We all have the ability to remove that amnesia through hypnosis and past life regression. However not everyone does that or wants to. Therefore, this lifetime is the sole focus, so why not make it the best? Especially if you don’t believe me. If you believe we only have one lifetime then why aren’t you chasing every dream you have?
Why do we avoid telling someone we have romantic feelings for them when it could be the one shot for true love? Why do we avoid going for a non-traditional job when that is what our soul is calling for? Why do we hold back? Is it that societal conditioning I mentioned? Are we worried what others may say and think? Do we not think we have what it takes?
Do you see how this all perfectly comes together?, all these unnecessary things that make us a slave. What people do not seem to know (and its not a secret) is that IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY.
Go for it. Tell your crush you like them. Apply for that job you’re interested in. Create that greenhouse or she-shed. Feel the empowering energy I am sending you now. The question remains: why not, why not, why not? Therapy can tell you.
I want to end part one with a lighter rule.

5. Scream Everyday
Yes, you heard that right. I encourage you to scream out loud every single day or at least a few times a week. Remember that gunk I was talking about? Sometimes we avoid it. Sometimes we avoid our feelings. Where do you think they go? They go down deep inside, and they fester. They become chronic illness. They become disease. Emotions are energy also and what did we learn about energy? It never dies.
Those negative emotions you didn’t let out that day you wanted to cry but didn’t, they are still there. You didn’t let them out. If you are not going to cry every day then you can at least scream, right?
I said this rule would be lighter but off we go into the darkness. All disease is a manifestation of an unresolved trauma or emotional issue. Let us avoid disease by releasing the gunk. Do you understand? Do you understand that emotions must come out? Do you understand that if you only analyze and not FEEL your feelings, they remain inside?
Do yourself a favor and scream in your car on the way home from work. Scream with your kids on a sunny day. Let yourself cry when you can. Why don’t you cry, is it image? Don’t make me talk about conditioning again.
I love you all very much. I want the best for you. I want to make life easier for you. If you feel you cannot fully implement these into your life, I encourage you to try for even thirty seconds. It will get easier. I promise.

Let Go and Let God: The Story

Intro
I have been gifted with a key. Well, it was hardly a gift; I did work very hard for it. The key came with a sacred chest holding a life-changing bit of information.
I thought about keeping this gift all to myself. I hold the answer to happiness and fulfillment, you see. Luckily for you, I felt called to share the sweetness within. In fact, it is my mission to do so.
Therefore, today I will take a trip back in time. Today I will open the chest and share its secret with you.

The Journey

First you must hear how I got the key! I mean, it really was a notable journey. It took decades, in fact, to receive such a gift. I had to work especially hard for it.
One day on my regular walk, the bottom of a mountain formed before me, a small incline. It was almost like Jack and the Bean stalk but more so in concept. “This can’t be happening, I mumbled.” I had quite a lot of other weird happenings at the time, and I wasn’t sure I could take anymore!
Really, I wouldn’t normally take any ole detour, but I just knew it was special. I am just intuitive like that. As I took a few more steps the entire mountain formed, and I saw what I was working with. It felt as tall as Everest, not that I have ever been there. I was intimidated for sure, though. But then I heard a voice in my head that told me it was integral for me to go- and so I did.
I will always remember this mountain and what it took to get to the top.
Despite its glory, the mountain was full of obstacles and sometimes even traps. “Go figure,” I said begrudged.
Sometimes I conquered fearlessly and sometimes I tripped and stumbled. One time I fell in a hole that took years to get out of, it was that deep and full of despair.
Sometimes I would end up in quicksand, sometimes in muck. Often, I was hungry, irritable, scared, and confused. But every so often there were these moments; moments so sweet I dared to keep going. I would look for these special nuggets as I continued to the top. One time a map floated down gracefully from the sky. It didn’t include everything, but it was helpful, nonetheless. Things were starting to look up.
Sometimes I would push myself too hard when my body and mind begged me to rest. Sometimes I saw a shortcut and would take it. Sometimes the shortcut was a trap. Sometimes I stopped and made shelter. I always felt like something was watching me and I could not relax. Sometimes scary things did pop up.
One time I got really scared and hid for a long time. The sun was shining when I came back out. I started walking upwards again.
I met many friendly animals and enjoyed many laughs with them. Sometimes I stopped to smell all the flowers. Sometimes I even put flowers in my hair. I was starting to change.
There was one morning when I woke up and all my equipment was gone. Someone stole my shoes and hiking gear. That day I felt like I couldn’t take it anymore. I didn’t care about the top of the mountain anymore. I sat down and cried. The discouragement from what seemed like regression overtook me. What happened to the changes I had worked so hard to make, God?
I must have fallen asleep again. When I woke up, suddenly the top of the mountain was in my line of view! I’m not sure how it happened but it was closer than ever. Although it was so close, I did not run to get there. I took my time. I appreciated each moment, each detail of the mountain, knowing this journey was almost over.
I thanked God for each bird that flew by. I sat with my feet in a nearby river. My journey had been tough, but I think I had grown to love it. That mountain and I had become very close, you know. I heard a voice that said it was time to go and so I got out of the river and made my way to the top. This time I was successful.
Much to my surprise, nothing was at the top when I arrived but flat and vibrant green grass. This time I did not panic. I did not curse God. I had acquired faith and trust on my journey, and I waited. Archangel Michael then appeared with a chest and key in his hand. I felt hesitation to put the key in, but he beckoned me to do so. I had come all this way for this moment, why the hesitation? I opened the chest and much to my surprise all that resided was a folded note on white paper.
More anticipation bubbled now that I had something else to open. The information on the paper must be ancient and sacred, surely. I opened it and in bold letters it said, LET GO.
I felt confused. You mean I came all this way for two words? I glared at AA Michael, and he smiled. Two words I have surely heard before. What kind of gift is this? What am I supposed to do with this?
And as quickly as he had come, he was gone.
I spent a few days stubbornly trying to figure things out. What do I let go of? Everything? Does God really think I can just let go? How do I even do it? I have a family to feed, you know. This is just unrealistic.
I decided to lay down. As I was in those moments right before sleep, I suddenly got it. I understood everything.
Without hesitation I ran, and I jumped. I jumped right off the mountain.
“Sara what were you thinking?!” you may say. “You could have died!” Oh, I knew the risk when I jumped. However, when I jumped, I didn’t fall. I grew wings and I soared. Suddenly tons of Angels surrounded me and flew with me. I flew and I flew, and I didn’t stop flying until I landed directly into my dreams.
I continued to live life this way. I let go and let God. I don’t force and I don’t search. I don’t push and I don’t fight. I follow my heart. I honor my body and intuition. I have full faith and trust in the Divine. I let things flow.
And I am at peace.
Just let go.
