Every session starts with a guided meditation, followed by a therapeutic art exercise that is often discussed with an open conversation, and it is concluded with a short reflection or guided relaxation.
Sessions are about 60 to 90 minutes long.
We give shape to images we have in our minds by translating them on paper.
This is also a fun way to start a self-exploration journey through Art. Are you ready to start today?
Art therapy is an integrative mental health service that enriches the lives of individuals, families, and communities through the art-making and creative process.
It is applied to process traumas of any kind, but also to focus on gratitude and positive feelings, and it effectively supports personal and relational treatment goals.
Art therapy is used to improve cognitive functions, foster self-esteem and self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, enhance social skills, increase creativity, promote insight, reduce and resolve conflicts and stress.
As a Therapeutic Art Coach, I combine art therapy activities with guided meditations.
