Energetic Distance Healing

Reiki is a practice done by attuned individuals- there is three levels to becoming a reiki master. Reiki focuses on healing thought life force energies. All living things contain energy- reiki focuses on bringing the universal life force within through a channel(the reiki practitioner) and sending it to the individual that is accepting and open to it. Reiki can not be forced upon someone so the individual has to be open if they shut down part way through a session it means that the individual has taken enough energies or they are not ready to heal deeper yet. Making reiki one of the safest healing modules out there.

A energy session consists of myself one ting to the women by doing a energy scan to see what is going on with the individuals energy centres- I focus around the seven major centres within us- the chakras

I than spend time in each centre just channeling healing energies or helping to release energies.

We finish the session with 15 minute consult to share what arose for me and what the individual felt. This is done through video chat or messenger.

Too little or too much?

How does sleep effect me?

We all know that sleep is a part of life; but do we all know that it effects us daily if we receive too little or too much of it?

I have talked with four different sleep consultants and as a healer who using sleep as the time to allow my body, mind, and soul a chance to regenerate; I wanted to awaken and educate you all on the importance of healthy sleep, the risks of too little or too much sleep, and share some tips and tricks to bring yourself into the best state of sleep you can reach.

The first thing we need to know is how much sleep each person needs based on their age. Age is the simplest and straight forward place to start and look at for how much sleep is correct.

Sleep is a naturally recurring state of mind and body. During sleep, most of the body’s systems are in an metabolic state, helping to restore the immune, nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems; these are vital processes that maintain mood, memory, and cognitive function, and play a large role in the function of the endocrine and immune systems.

So how do we know if we are not getting enough sleep?

The four sleep consultants have shared some key signs that your lacking sleep if:

• Short tempered

• Increased impulsivity

• Exacerbated pre-existing mental health such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder

• Increased stress throughout the day

• Reduced immune system

• Difficulty waking up in the morning

• Obesity due to consuming unhealthy/ stimulating foods

• Heart disease

• Increased forgetfulness

• Lack of motivation and attention in everyday tasks

• Slower reactive time

•Constant hunger

•Sleep deprivation is also the number 1 contributing factor to PPD/PPA

•Low immunity/catching colds easily

And they also shared signs to look for within your babies and children.

•Acts needy or clingy - won’t let you put down

•Passive - not interested, not vocal - an event during play and the mood changes

•Falls asleep easily during short car rides at non-nap times

•Increased difficulty making nap transitions

•Fidgety, hyperactive behaviour, excited prior to sleep times are signs of being

overtired.

•Limited attention span, lacks interest or motivation

•Alertness levels vary

•Sleep interruptions night terrors, sleepwalking

•Loud snoring, breathing interruptions and restlessness during longer periods of

sleep (Night)

•Increased anxiety related to separation

On the flip side it is a possibility that we and our children are getting too much sleep. The signs can be similar to a lack of sleep but there is a few different ones. As well, getting too much sleep can be a sign of an underlying sleep disorder like sleep apnea or mental health issue such as depression.

Here is a few signs to look for:

•obesity

•headaches

•medical disorders (examples- heart disease, type 2 diabetes)

•forgetfulness

•waking up feeling exhausted

For children they are similar as well:

•hyperactive

•clingy and very attached

•snoring

•early morning waking

•short napping

So we can clearly see the impact that sleep has on all of us at any age.

It’s time to start taking care of yourself and putting sleep as a priority into your self care practice and daily routine.

Here is some tips and tricks for creating the best sleep routine. This are from my personal experience and from the sleep consultants. I will say that they all agreed on one tip- can you guess what that is?

It’s build a routine!!!! For yourself and your children. Children’s routines shouldn’t be longer than 30 minutes and adults start your a couple hours before bed. A routine might look like bed time snack for the kiddos, book or quiet play, bath, brush teeth and get into bed. For an adult, an example I’ll share is my own( and it’s not every night I’m not perfect at this either). I like to take time that is where I have a snack or treat, sometimes watch a show on tv or read a book, and than get ready to crawl into bed. Once into bed I so a short mediation to clear my mind and bring my body into a state of relaxation. A key part to our house routine is playing 432Hz tones( known to relax the mind and help improve sleep).

There second common tip was to avoid screens and activities that stimulate. Meaning set a timer before going to bed and make sure to do something calming and relaxing. This is where taking a bath, using aromatherapy, meditating, doing yoga, or reading a book would come into play. A great resource for mediations is Insight Timer.

The third tip was to make the environment appropriate for sleeping. This means dark, cool, and quiet or with white noise or light frequency tones that are directed to sleep frequency’s. Remember the 432Hz tones you can find them on iTunes or YouTube.

Seeing how important sleep is and how much of an impact it has on each of us- we can now make it a priority in our lives and our loved ones lives. When we sleep our bodies are regenerating and healing. Our life forces take this time to reenergize, release, and heal.

Regeneration is the process of renewal, restoration, and growth that makes cells and organisms resilient to natural fluctuations or events that cause disturbance or damage.

Reiki and energy work is a great step for also regenerating your body, mind, and soul. And has been known to bring the individual into a state of relaxation leading to sleep. From my experience I’ve seen it put some to sleep on the spot.

Self care; a necessary not a choice

Finding the time to take proper care of yourself can be hard. But if you don’t, it won’t be long before you’re exhausted and operating in a mental fog where it’s hard to care about anything or anyone.

Implementing tiny self-care habits every day regularly into your life will bring a little bit of love and attention for your own body, mind, and spirit. Allowing yourself to be at your optimal health physically and mentally for your self and your loved ones.

With a little bit of attention to your own self-care, the fog will lift.

You’ll feel more connected to yourself and the world around you.

Remember and keep in mind, self-care isn’t selfish or shallow; it’s a necessary part of a healthy lifestyle and your mental state. It pushes you to be the best version of yourself for your loved ones.

Below contains a list of self care exercises to choose to build up your physical, mental, and spiritual bodies! Choose one each day to begin. And keep the lists so you can come back and switch up your choice each day!

Start creating your personal self care practice and lay the blocks for your foundation within.

Allowing you to build and flourish upwards with form roots planted in a solid foundation.

Body care

•Give yourself some mindful attention- do a body scan! the aim is to be aware of the different regions of your body, and allow yourself to experience how each part feels, without trying to change anything.

•Take three deep breathes- go deep into your abdomen!

•Do mirror work- get naked and look at yourself and find one area you love in that moment!

•Make one small change with your diet- drink more water, add more veggies or fruit, or eliminate something from your diet that has no benefits to you!

•Stop! Be still with yourself- find a quite place and sit for a few minutes and just be in the moment.

•take a nap

Mind care

•start a compliment journal- every time someone compliments you write it down so you can go back daily and see the positives people see in you!

•switch the way you make decisions- use your heart and not your mind!

•play- take 5 minutes to just let go and goof around and play.

•do a mini meditation- one minute of awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions- if needed journal it down!

•declutter- let go of things physically that aren’t benefiting you anymore

Spirit care

•check in with your emotions- be judgement free

•wrote out your thoughts- take 10-15 minutes write out everything on your mind bothering you and than burn it away let it go!

•choose who you spend your time with!

•get positive feedback- ask three friends what they love about you?

•have a self date- take an 30-60 minutes by yourself and do something you enjoy.

GEOPATHIC STRESS

Geopathic Stress
Geopathic stress is the distortion of Geo-electromagnetic energies in the earth’s field of underground water courses, mineral deposits; faults and underground cavities. These distorted or negative energies may radiate through your house or work place, affecting the health of the occupants in different ways. The problem arises when people spend long periods of time working or sleeping in these lines or zones of ‘Geopathic stress’ (GS). The healing of land and houses is essential for good health and wellbeing

Symptoms of Geopathic stress

While Geopathic stress does not cause illnesses directly, it may weaken the immune system which in turn weakens the body, making it slower to heal and more susceptible to illnesses such as cancer.

Sleeping in a Geopathic zone is particularly stressful. If you sleep on a spiral, where two Leylines of the negative energy cross, for example, two underground rivers, not alone may it affect your sleep patterns by causing broken or restless sleep or nightmares, you may wake up in the morning feeling more tired than when you went to bed. This is because the adrenal gland works overtime to compensate for the distorted earth radiation. The brain also cannot relax into a deep sleep to repair and regenerate the body due to the high content of adrenaline in the blood. Over time, the fact that you sleep in this energy overnight, may lead to energy imbalance or long term illness.

Any of the following are believed to result from exposure to Geopathic stress:

Behavioral problems, e.g. Aggression, hyperactivity
Emotional instability
Sleeping disorders and restlessness
Cancer, M.E. And M.S.
Aches and pains, e.g. Headaches
Back problems
Infertility and cot deaths
Asthma and allergies
Depression
Stress and nervousness
Lack of concentration or memory loss
Nausea
Disorientation
Exhaustion, fatigue or loss of strength
Absenteeism at work due to sickness
Not responding to medical treatment

Physical indicators of Geopathic stress

Animals that gravitate to lines or zones of GS include: cats, owls, slugs, snails, insects such as ants, bacteria, viruses, wasps and bees. Most mammals avoid areas of Geopathic stress. Horses and cows stabled over GS may become sick or prone to injuries. In Ireland in the days of old, people used to put cattle into the fields to see where they would sleep knowing that they would not sleep in areas of negative energy. This is then where the buildings were placed, in the good old days before planning permission!

Areas of non-productive fruit trees, gaps in hedges, twisted growth, patches in lawns and trees where lightening has struck can indicate areas of GS.

Animals and very young children can feel instinctively if a place is healthy or not i.e. If there are lines or zones of Geopathic stress within it. If children are oriented differently from when they were tucked in, or don’t want to sleep in their beds it is wise to check for lines of the GS.

Can the level of Geopathic stress be measured?

Through the art of dowsing, Dr. Gustav Freiherr von Pohl, the ‘Grand Old Man’ of GS, developed a scale to analyze the strengths and effects of the contaminated leylines

The scale runs from 1 to 16 with the following effects:

Up to 4: No effect.
5 – 6: Obesity, swelling of joints, headaches, sleeping problems, anxiety.
7 – 8: Mental disorders, addictions, suicides, depression.
9 plus: Cancer, leukemia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and many other disorders.
In both Germany and Austria it is the law to have your house checked for Geopathic stress before you move in.
