The Use of Gold & Silver in Colour Therapy

Silver
Silver is the colour of the moon, which is ever changing. It moves like water with the ebbs and flows of the tide. It relates to the feminine principle and the emotional sensitive aspect of the mind. It balances, harmonises and mentally cleanses.
Silver is a healing colour that promotes self healing and spiritual growth, its energy can draw negativity from the body and replace it with positive energy. From a colour psychology viewpoint it signals time for reflection and a change of direction as it illuminates the way forward.
Silver is believed to be a mirror to the soul helping us to see ourselves as others see us. Traditionally grey haired people are viewed as being old but the phrase silver haired traditionally describes a distinguished individual who is ageing gracefully.
With its reflective and sensitive qualities silver inspires intuition, clairvoyance and mental telepathy, and is also very good for public speaking, so wear silver if you need to make a speech or get a point across. But, be aware It reflects back any energy given out, whether it is positive or negative.
This colour is very versatile, being shiny and modern as well as being alluring, sparkling and elegant. Silver is also respectable, courteous, dignified, responsible, self controlled, determined and organised. Silver relates well to the corporate world and those in positions of responsibility for both male and female. You will probably see a lot of silver in modern offices, think of the Gherkin in London with its shiny exterior which reflects back at us.
Silver works well with most colours as it illuminates and reflects the energy of those colours which surround it, silver although associated with grey is more light hearted and optimistic.
On its negative side silver can be indecisive, non committal, dull and lifeless much like grey, so use the best you can find.

Gold
Gold is an overall healing colour that works from head to toe, it connects to the light of the higher spirit, restructuring the spiritual layers of the aura, protecting and charging the energy field with life force. It is the colour of high ideals and is helpful for inner head problems, growths and heart conditions.
Gold is associated with the sun and is therefore related to abundance and power, higher ideals, wisdom and understanding. It is mentally revitalizing, energising and inspiring, helpful for fear, uncertainty and lack of interest. Pale gold is excellent for depression and sharpens the mind.
Gold shouts sparkle, richness and inspiration and can be overwhelming if used in large quantities, so if either wearing gold or using it in interior design add other colours that will accent it and avoid using it in large expanses.
Gold is very close to yellow when choosing foods to eat, golden and yellow foods boost the nervous system and the brain to encourage a positive outlook on life.
Wearing golden yellow will promote sparkle and vitality and give you the ability to meet new challenges. Where wearing yellow can sometimes encourage egotism change the shade to gold which will encourage you to find your inner wisdom. The golden yellow will help you think clearly and feed your nervous system.

The Use of Black & White in Colour Therapy

Black
This is not a colour we use in therapy as a healer as black is not really a colour, it is an accumulation of all colour, it is like a black hole which absorbs all colour. As therapists we do from time to time see black in auras which signifies to us a very serious illness looming.
Wearing black can be very protective especially if you are self sufficient, in authority and have control and are in a position to protect, e.g. Policemen.
Wearing black for ourselves can be protective if we need to be opinionated and not swayed by other people’s opinions, but we have to be in control, of ourselves in order to communicate an authorative image. Make sure you always wear black with highlights of a strong colour in order to counterbalance the negative effects. Diamond jewellery will inspire and protect you with a rainbow of colour; a scarf, belt or shawl will add life back to the black.
Avoid wearing black if you are depressed or despairing because of lack of self recognition and self denial. Black rejects help from others and promotes isolation. I see a lot of people who wear black all the time as a way of hiding from the world, wearing the black is actually helping them to stay in this state longer than is reasonable. Be aware that black does not hide you from the outside world it screams “Leave me alone” which is probably the least thing people need.
Black mourning clothes were only brought into fashion by Queen Victoria in the 19th Century after the death of her husband, she probably wore black to give the impression she was in control when she really wasn’t. Unfortunately it was her who decided she wanted to stay in mourning for the rest of her life. This became a fashion trend which still holds today. Before Victoria we all wore white to funerals, which emphasised the pure light. It is not healthy to our own well being to stay in mourning for the rest of our lives, so keep adding colour, even in small ways until you feel your true colourful self again.
Teenagers especially are drawn to black as black is used as a defence tactic. Teenagers are going through great hormonal changes which make them lack confidence in themselves and their ability to handle life efficiently. They may use black as a way of cloaking themselves whilst they discover their true identity. Most teenagers want to paint their rooms black, usually this is a process we all go through and come out of, but always keep an eye on your teenagers as this can sometimes cover up underlying depressions and anxieties.
Black can be a great colour for accentuating certain areas in the home but be aware it will suck out all the light so only use in areas that you wish to look smaller or cosier. Always use with a brighter colour, especially in the bedroom as going to sleep in a black room is actually ok, waking up in one is certain to affect your energy levels.
Use Black carefully, and remember when the sky is black, even the diamond stars shine brighter, we are not meant to live in a black world, use black as the background to your true colours.

White
White is the opposite to black, Yin and Yang are usually black and white, so where there is black there must also be white.
Pure white can be as frightening as pure black and can also be cold and clinical; so as with black always use with other colours. White reflects light which makes it brighter and is the perfect colour for us to wear in hot sunshine as it deflects heat from our bodies. White contains all the other colours in the spectrum showing positivity.
Wear white if you need a greater awareness and insight in your life- you may be indulging in being separate from reality. Wear white if you need to be open-minded, clear and receptive to new ideas and plans without action. White gives you time to stop and think, to reflect without decision making.
Avoid white if you are feeling lonely or isolated or cut off in any way, or if you need to participate, act or make decisions.
If you already wear white this shows you have a positive, well balanced and optimistic personality. You seek a simplified lifestyle free from outside pressures. You have chosen a simple and pure colour but one that reaches out for recognition. You are probably going through a transition period with new ideas that have not taken form. Be open minded and communicate for with white all things are possible.
Of course we associate white with virginity, birth and marriages. We wear white wedding gowns to show we are pure for our new partners; we dress our babies in white when they are born, but again these are new ideas to our society brought on by fashion, as we embrace a transition period of our lives. White tells us this is the beginning of a new period. White means clean, and shows up impurities, which is why we have white gowns in surgery and white sheets on hospital beds, white bandages and white tablecloths in restaurants amongst other things.
Too much white, like too much black is harmful to our well being as our bodies cannot shut down whilst surrounded by constant light. In interior design white must be used as an accent colour to make dark areas lighter or appear larger. We tend to have ‘white goods’ in our homes as they are the electrical appliances that keep us clean, warm and fed and until recently have been white to give us the feeling that everything is clean and safe after WW2 when the American dream dictated how we could all live better.
As a therapist if we see a lot of white in an aura this like seeing black is a warning sign that this person is not in touch with reality and needs earthing. Our auras should be a rainbow of colour.
White is the colour of the crown chakra, this is where we receive and give out most of our energy and this needs to be kept clear at all times. A lot of us suffer with hot heads from anger or energy blockages which can cause stress headaches. Try to keep this energy centre clear by massaging the top of your head in a clockwise direction in small circles and drink water. This will cure your headache and it helps hair loss too.
Enjoy white but don’t overdo it.

The Use of Brown in Colour Therapy

A warm nurturing earthy safe colour, a colour we associate with Mother Earth. If we surround ourselves with brown furniture, carpets or clothes we feel protected from the outside world. Brown brings stability to the home so is a good colour to include when you are suffering from insecurity. It is best to introduce brown in interior design through natural materials such as wood or ceramics.
Walking in the beauty of Mother Nature, especially in woods and forests we are surrounded by shades of brown in trees, soil, plants etc. This is an instant mood enhancer for all of us and is something we need to do on a regular basis. By planting trees we are not only creating oxygen for ourselves we are creating a haven of peace in which to aid our mental stability.
If you wear brown this suggests an honest down to earth person who likes a structured supported lifestyle. A lover of the best things life has to offer, you are a sensuous type, appreciating good food, drink and company.
Brown is a protective colour but you may be bottling up emotion or a secret that makes you retreat into your shell and fear the outside world. There is a desire to be emotionally secure and accepted by the outside world. You need to understand your self worth and ward off narrow mindedness.
Brown foods are seen as wholesome and good for us, such as wholemeal in bread and cereal, dark chocolate, potato skins, brown rice, brown sugar, nuts, coffee and mushrooms, etc. These are foods we need to help our body to function and to produce bodily waste which is probably a down side to brown
Using brown in interior design will always give a warm nurturing safe environment; the best rooms to use it in are the bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining room and relaxation room.
Using Brown in therapy is not common, as it is only used in extreme cases where the person requiring help is very selfish and not making any contribution to anyone or anything, and even then we would only recommend it in clothing or interior design. When we see brown in auras this is usually an indication of muddy chakras that are blocked and need clearing.
As there are many shades of brown from beiges through terracotta’s to chocolate browns there will be a shade somewhere that we like, that will link us to the goodness of Mother Earth.

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Magenta in Colour Therapy

Magenta
Magenta is related to the etheric spirit and is a chakra placed above the violet chakra which is situated above our heads in our auras. It is a dramatic spiritual colour. It looks after the meridian system which is the energy system that goes through our body and looks after the acupuncture points and foot reflexes which are continually used by holistic healers to help us stay well.
Magenta is an elusive colour and cannot be easily reproduced; it is best seen through a prism. If you wish to use magenta it is a good idea to find a magenta coloured flower for inspiration for your scheme, and copy from this. Magenta is a very spiritual colour but with practical overtones, which means it has a humanizing effect on us. When we are feeling despondent and worried about our condition and are angry and frustrated, magenta draws us out of this attitude and lets our spirit soar.
Together with violet, a decor scheme in magenta would be a theatrical and futuristic as a birth-death scenario. It is therefore advisable that only trained colour therapists should use these colours for a healing environment. You can use these colours yourself in small quantities in home furnishings in maybe a rug, painting, lampshade or blind to help uplift your mood, and help you to relax.
From a negative perspective, magenta reinforces the effect of violet, making us desire to be lifted out of the involvement of our present demanding world, avoiding challenges. It can also be too relaxing as it is a stronger shade of pink which is a muscle relaxant. This can be dangerous to those who have a tendency to opt out. So if you suffer from depression or are introverted avoid magenta in both your dress and surroundings.

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Pink in Colour Therapy

This is one of the smaller chakras, this one can be found next to the green chakra as it also works on the heart. Pink is the colour of self love and I tend to use this colour a lot in Colour Therapy and in all my holistic work.
Pink is emotionally soothing and calming, gently warming, nurturing, kind, considerate unselfish loving. Pink is also a great muscle relaxant which helps you to sleep, just try using pink bedding and see how you feel. Rose pink is uplifting and gently stimulating which supports and soothes. Baby pink indicates emotional immaturity and a need to be loved for yourself.
There are pink foods such as Rhubarb, Pink Salmon and Ham but you will find that most Pink foods are made by mixing a red food with a white food, and usually they are comfort foods like cakes, ice cream, candy floss, sweets etc. These are nice but be careful what you eat whilst you are self loving. You will often find yourself drawn to these foods at times of despair or crisis.
A good way to get pink into your body is to have a colour bath, just simply add pink bubble bath or a pink bath bomb to the bath water and relax into it; you could even add pink rose petals. If you’re feeling decadent then drink pink champagne, and eat pink filled chocolates in there too.
Children and animals respond well to Pink as they find it both relaxing and soothing, especially when they are ill, just by wrapping them in a pink blanket or giving them a pink cushion to lie on is enough to soothe.
Pink is a good colour to have in the bedroom for its relaxing properties but try not to overdo it as you may still feel over relaxed on waking. Try different shades of pink going from soft pink to plum in this room. In some contemporary businesses pink is often used in waiting areas, I once knew a dentist who had a pink dental room for children, everything was pink including the chair, this relaxed the children and they enjoyed visiting her practice. Pink can also be used in waiting rooms as well as green, and you will often see both pink and green together both in nature and in interior design as they both calm and relax the nerves.
Enjoy using Pink

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Violet in Colour Therapy

Violet is the cosmic ray with the highest vibration and enters through the crown chakra. It works on the master glands and etheric centre. This is the chakra that many people relate to feeling closer to God, which is why you will find many older ladies will dye their hair with a violet rinse.
Violet purifies, controls growth and relieves pain, it can also be used for the treatment of shock or fear. Violet can exert strong psychic influences, however, and a person attracted to it has to guard against living in a fantasy world.
Violet is the colour for the brain, especially the pineal gland which opens us up spiritually. Violet balances the body’s metabolism and helps maintain the potassium balance in the body. It suppresses hunger and has a cleansing and purifying effect. It balances the mind and helps deal with obsessions and fears. Violet has a transformative quality, helping us make changes in our life. It brings peace and helps us connect with our creativity and spiritual side so that we can change and grow. An attraction to Violet indicates a time to let go of the past and look forward to the future.
Violet in interior design has to be used wisely, although it is a healing colour it can be detrimental to the health of anyone who suffers from mental problems as it affects the brain. Good rooms to use this colour are a treatment room, bedroom study, meditation room or sanctuary. Violet creates an air of luxury, royalty and mystery because it has always been associated with kings and spiritual places. It is best to use violet for inspiration in touches in soft furnishings either with harmonizing colours or to complement a yellow scheme. Shades of purple can be used in areas where dignity and contemplation are required.
Wearing violet will promote sensitivity and a calmer more gentle nature. Avoid if you suffer from a lack of freedom or around people who are not sensitive to your feelings. Wearing purple will help you to get in touch with your creativity and intuition.
Enjoy Violet but use it wisely and in moderation.

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Indigo in Colour Therapy

Indigo is associated with psychic protection and is the colour of the third eye chakra. Indigo takes care of the pituitary gland, ears, nose and eyes as well as the skeletal system.
Indigo along with violet and purple has a deep affect on the psyche and has been used in psychiatric care to calm and pacify patients suffering from a number of mental and nervous disorders.

These colours balance the mind and also help transform obsessions and fears. Indigo is a powerful, psychic colour associated with the right side of the brain and stimulates intuition and imagination. It is also a strong sedative. Indigo as well as violet are colours of transformation at a very deep level, bringing peace and combating shock or fear. They have a cleansing effect in emotional disturbances. They are also connected with artistic and musical impulses, mystery and sensitivy to beauty and high ideals, stimulating creativity, inspiration, sensitivity and spirituality and compassion. Indigo is associated with psychic protection and is the colour of the third eye chakra. There are also a group of people on earth who are known as the Indigo Children as it is thought they are highly advanced spiritual people.

Wearing Indigo is good for you if you want peace and love without anxiety, and authority without demand, but avoid if you do not like silence or have feelings of invasion of personal privacy. Do not wear if you are feeling oversensitive and need to be socially accepted or you are feeling imposed upon by rules and regulations.
Throughout my colour therapy work I have found that Indigo is very good at helping to ease headaches. Just by placing this colour in any form to the area of pain will help. It is also very good at calming down people who get over anxious by giving them something of this colour or showing them a picture with this colour in it. The best place to soak up this wonderful colour is by looking at the night sky, this is an instant calm for everyone.

Use Indigo wisely as it is very powerful for calming down emotional problems but it is not a colour to live in constantly as it can get depressing. If you need this colour in a bedroom to aid sleep and relaxation then add some yellow gold tones or silver to add some light which represents the healing light of the moon.

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Turquoise and Light Blue in Colour Therapy

Turquoise
We associate blue-greens with the refreshing and cool ocean. It is therefore invigorating, cooling and calming. Like green, turquoise is good for mental strain and tiredness or feeling washed-out. It is an elevating colour that encourages us to make a sparkling fresh start. Turquoise is also helpful for feelings of loneliness, since it heightens communication, sensitivity and creativity.
Turquoise is the colour of the throat chakra and this is where our voice emanates from so if you have to stand up in front of a crowd, you are a teacher, holding a meeting or just need to speak up then wear turquoise around your neck area, either as a stone in a pendant or as a scarf or even a shirt collar.
Using turquoise in decoration is an excellent way of making a calming soothing environment which is especially helpful if you are suffering from stress. Like green, turquoise is good to use when you are hot or when mental strain has been endured. We associate blue-greens with the homes of people who live in hot climates, and it reminds us of the refreshing cool colour of the ocean. A great colour for bathrooms.

Light Blue
Blue is a cool calming colour and makes us feel calm and relaxed, protected from all the bustle of the day. More people choose blue as their favourite colour than any other, with over 50% choosing it.
Blue inspires mental control, clarity and creativity. It is like green a healing colour used widely by colour therapists to heal and soothe wounds and burns, it also relieves pain. Light Blue is the also the colour of the throat chakra but this colour is more prominent in the respiratory system helping us to breath. It also removes poisons from the tissues. Colour breath work is especially good using this colour to calm down panic attacks and to remove poisons which we breathe in.
If you wear light blue you are creative, perceptive and sensitive. You have a good imagination and practical approach to life. Your approach can be analytical and you are best advised to use your knowledge for problem solving. You like to do things in your own time and don’t like to be rushed, a tranquil environment suits you best.
You will find this colour on nurses as it not only keeps them calm whilst doing their job it instantly calms us down and makes us feel as though someone is taking charge of the situation.
The bedroom and the bathroom are good places to use light blue, but make sure it is a warm blue as a cold blue will make you feel cold and isolated. Warm light blues are very relaxing and help you to sleep peacefully and relaxed.

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Green in Colour Therapy

Green brings physical equilibrium and is physically relaxing. It stimulates the pituitary gland, helping to balance our emotions. Green shows a strong affinity with nature, it can also reveal a desire for harmony and balance in your life and the need for personal space. Green is mentally relaxing and good for stress. It promotes harmony between body, mind and soul, it also helps us connect with empathy to others and the natural world.
Green is the colour of the heart chakra which is placed at the centre of the body and is the middle chakra denoting balance. Green is the healing colour for the heart and lower lung.
To maintain a healthy body we are encouraged to eat green food to cleanse, purify and balance the digestive system. Green foods best to eat are cabbage, brussels, lettuce, cucumber, green peppers, kiwi, limes, artichokes, green beans, peas, green lentils and broccoli etc.
Using green in our interiors creates a feeling of comfort, laziness and relaxation, perfect for city dwellers that need to unwind when they come home. Green is used therapeutically in interiors to create this feeling of space and connection with nature. It provides an energy balance for all other colours and brings a deep sense of healing at many levels. You may have noticed that green is used in operating theatres and on some hospital wards in order to keep the patient calm. You will probably find it in waiting rooms like doctors, solicitors, dentists in order to keep everyone feeling relaxed in a stressful situation.

You do need to be careful with shades of Green because if they are not clear colours they can make you feel sick, especially a green mixed with yellow.
If you are a mother, babysitter or nursery teacher then wearing the colour green or keeping a green object nearby will greatly enhance how you feel whilst with the children.
Wear Green if you are hyperactive, find it difficult to make decisions or exercise clear judgement. Apple green promotes health, happiness and innovation. Grass green gives you understanding and help to others, and encourages abundance in your life. Blue-green offers balance, but arrests movement. Green provides space and time when you do not want to make decisions, but can promote boredom, repression and inactivity.
Use Green wisely and enjoy its power.

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Yellow in Colour Therapy

Yellow is a happy bright and uplifting colour, a celebration of sunny days. It is associated with the intellectual side of the mind and the expression of thoughts. This is the colour of study, this colour is perfect in a study, around a students study space or wherever you need to work. Yellow aids the power of discernment and discrimination, memory and clear thinking, decision making and clear judgement. It also helps organisation, assimilation of new ideas and the ability to see different points of view. It builds self confidence and encourages an optimistic attitude. On the other side dull yellow can be the colour of fear.
Yellow is the colour you give yourself, your friends and family who are prone to depressions, who are studying or who are making tough decisions. You can give this with flowers, fruit, crystals, pictures etc.
Yellow also strengthens the nervous system generally. It creates energy in the muscles by activating motor nerves. It also activates the lymph system and cleanses the digestive tract. It also clears blockages in the pancreas, liver and gall bladder.
For cleansing the body drink lemon water, place crystals on the sacral chakra above these areas on the body, wear yellow clothing, eat yellow foods such as, lemons, bananas, yellow peppers, egg yolk, sweet corn, corn etc. Your best and easiest form of yellow is from the sun, this will give you all you need as long as you take it in sensibly.
Yellow in the home decor is very uplifting especially if you have north facing windows. Use yellow in places you need stimulation e.g. the study or kitchen, I wouldn’t recommend this colour in the bedroom as it can keep you awake, and if you use it in your living room then use a pale version as your body wont realise when it’s night time and time to rest.
If you have a fractious family relationship and have a yellow room in the house, try changing it to a soft cream to make it more harmonious.

Alternate Pathways
The Use of Orange in Colour Therapy

Orange stimulates the sexual organs and has a strong beneficial effect on the digestive system. It also strengthens the immune system including the spleen, lungs and pancreas and has a relaxing action on the body fluids.
Orange is a joyous colour as it frees and relaxes emotions and alleviates feelings of self pity and unwillingness to forgive. It stimulates the mind, renewing an interest in life. It is a wonderful anti-depressant and lifts the spirits. Apricot/Peach is good for nervous exhaustion.
Orange has both the physical stimulation of red and the mental stimulation of yellow. It is a joyful colour and a favourite of people who live close to the Earth. People who like this colour are usually at ease with their bodies and this is why many dancers are attracted to it. The earthiness of orange also makes it a very creative colour.
Eating orange foods are an excellent way of getting this colour into the body, try eating oranges, kumquats, carrots, baked beans, pumpkin, cantaloupe melon, mangoes and sweet potatoes etc,
Try wearing orange, in any of its many shades and see how it lifts your mood, or place an orange scarf over a lamp to benefit from an instant uplift.
Many people do not like orange in their environment although it may be just the colour they need, Versions of orange that are more acceptable to live with include rust, terra-cotta, amber, peach and apricot all of which reflect the positive and lively qualities of this colour. As a therapist I wouldn’t recommend using orange in the bedroom as it can keep you awake at night.
Orange is a wonderful colour and very helpful at this moment in time to help uplift our emotional well being, so use it profusely right now. Plant orange flowers, eat orange foods and wear shades of orange in the sunshine to get the full benefits. You only need 20 minutes to get a full uplift.
On the other hand be aware of over stimulation in your surroundings, e.g. Fast Food restaurants use Orange and Red to over stimulate you so you eat faster and move on quicker. So if you like long lingering dinner parties in your home don’t use too much orange in there.
Have fun. X

Alternate Pathways
I Am Woman

As a middle aged woman I have overcome a lot of obstacles and have had to deal with different life changes, some good and some bad. I’ve been through divorces, grief, empty nest syndrome, depression and PTSD, money problems plus much more and this has taken it’s toll on my mind body and soul.

Although I’ve reached this lovely perfect age where I could finally be myself in the truest form I felt lost and bewildered. My skin, body and hair had all changed beyond recognition and I saw my mother and grandmother looking back at me in the mirror. Although they were beautiful women it shocked me that I had become their age, in my mind they were old and I was a lot younger.
So, my journey began – I asked myself repeatedly who am I? But I couldn’t get an answer, I’d been every woman to everyone else and I’d forgotten who I was.

I found old photos of myself and mourned who I used to be whilst simultaneously laughing at what I was wearing and my trendy hairstyle. But I looked at myself and realised I was still wearing those same style clothes and the same hairstyle, but my hair was lighter than it used to be, more grey. Aaaagggh!!

So first things first before I dared go outside to find myself I had to look inwards to meet the new me and learn to accept her. Surely she deserved to be loved and looked after, after all she had took all the knocks of my life and she looked so despondent stood there looking at me with pleading in her eyes to set her free.

Does this resonate with you? I went on a very exciting holistic journey to find myself without leaving my home and found a new different me who found long buried interests that defined who I was. I built on these findings and created a version of me with multi facets where I can be mum, nana, partner, coach and friend but on my terms. The best part of my time is spent on being me and doing what makes me happy.

Alternate Pathways
The use of Red in colour Therapy

Red
The colour of blood and life force energy, also the colour of the basal chakra.
It is the colour of basal love and love is a great healer. It gives strength and the release of adrenaline, activating the nerves and blood. A love of red shows you are motivated, brave and have a will to succeed. It also shows movement and a desire for travel and change.
Red dominates the muscular system, adrenals, blood and kidneys and is very much the life force, so using red on some muscular aches and pains brings relief as well as helping to clear the body of impurities by moving things around.
Red should not be used on people who suffer from high blood pressure, or any blood or heart problems as this can make the problem worse.
Red helps you overcome negative thoughts through perseverance and determination, but shows a tendency to act without thinking things through. Too much red can make you angry and impatient.
If you need red in your life then eat red food, e.g. tomatoes, red apples, cherries, red beans, strawberries, raspberries, beetroot, red meat, red velvet cake etc. A good spaghetti Bolognese or a Beef Chilli are excellent red foods. Plus red foods are also commonly known as passion foods, so if that’s what you need feed them to your partner too.
Wear red clothes, if you work in the art world, wearing a red jacket or tie for an interview or meeting will get you noticed as a motivated successful person. For some of us red is too much for our colouring so just wear it in small quantities, e.g. hair dye, scarf, gloves, hat, accessories etc. for a great confidence boost.
Surround yourself with red, try putting a red scarf over a lamp and see how your mood changes. Try painting a main wall red in your house, use red bedding or plant red flowers in the garden, cover yourself in a red blanket when you get cold for an instant warm up.
However you use it have fun. X
