Essential learning for every muslim
Rooted in a traditional scholarship approach
taught by qualifed and experienced graduates of the Islamic University of Madinah.
Revealed Texts: Knowledge of the Quran and hadith, it’s interpretation and explanation, is essential knowledge for every muslim. Students study an introduction to Tafsir & Hadith Principles, Thematic Tafsir covering judgement day, islamic legislation, social dealings and Aqidah and Explanation of 20 hadith on virtues, ethics and Islamic rulings.
Fiqh: Islamic Jurisprudence, covers an introduction to the principles of Fiqh, its historical development and a study of ‘Ibaadah: purification, prayer, zakat, fasting and hajj
Tawheed: Study the pillars of Islam, the meaning of the testimony of faith, worship and its types, the pillars of Islam and more. Topics include Tawheed and its categories, Shirk and examples, types of worship, brief biography of Prophet Muhammad.
Hadith: Prophetic Traditions, covers an introduction to the historical development and compilation of Hadith, followed by a study of selected Hadith in legal rulings from Bulugh al-Maram of ibn Hajar al-asqalani.
Seerah: A detailed look at the life of the Prophet Muhammad covering: Arabian penisula Pre-Islam, beginning of Revelation, madinah Period and Makkah period
Tawheed : Study an in-depth meaning of Tawheed and the some of the common practices of Shirk that nullify tawheed or decrease its reward. Topics include the importance of Tawheed, the danger of Shirk, and actions that are considered major or minor shirk

STEP 1: Register for a conditional place using the FREE sign up below.
STEP 2: Come to the Open Day on Sunday 8th or Sun 15th and complete the application form and make payment
STEP 3: Collect. your course materials and meet your instructor

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Students have to be 18 and over
Do I need previous knowledge to do this course?
It is a beginners course so no previous knowledge is needed
What will i be able to do after i complete the course?
You can continue onto Islamic Sciences year two certificate
Do you offer payment plans?
If you are takign more than one subject, for example you combine Arabic Language or Quran Memorisation, then we can offer an instalment plan.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Madinah College is across the road from Brixton Underground, and serviced by numerous bus routes
