A lot of people wake up at the same time every night without paying much attention to it. But did you know this could be your body’s way and a Higher Power’s way of communicating with you?

Traditional Chinese medicine uses energy meridians for acupuncture and acupressure. These energy meridians are connected to a clock system that, according to ancient Chinese medicine, energizes different parts of the body.

So depending on the time you wake up at night, your body could be experiencing certain sensations and is communicating certain physical and emotional problems to you.

Waking up in the middle of the night shouldn’t be ignored

It is also believed that the sleep cycle is the time when we receive messages from a Higher Power, and these messages could reveal details about our spiritual journey.

Do you tend to wake up the same time every night? Find out what this means below.

Having trouble sleeping between 9 to 11 p.m. could be a sign of stress

This is the usual bedtime for most people. If you’re having difficulty falling asleep between these hours, it could be a sign of too much worry and stress. Meditation is recommended to help you go back to sleep.

Waking up between 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. could mean emotional disappointment

Ancient Chinese medicine says this is the time when the gall bladder is active. Waking up at these hours could signify emotional disappointment, so positive mantras and practicing self-acceptance and forgiveness will help.

Waking up between 1 to 3 a.m. may signify anger

This energy meridian is connected with the liver. Waking up at this time is said to be associated with anger and excess yang energy. To get some peaceful sleep, try drinking cold water and meditating.

Waking up between 3 to 5 a.m. could mean a Higher Power is reaching out to you

This timeframe is related to the lungs as well as emotions of sadness. If you wake up around this time, it could be a sign that a Higher Power is alerting you to guide you toward your higher purpose. To go back to sleep, try slow breathing exercises and prayer.

Waking up between 5 to 7 a.m. is associated with emotional blockages

The energy flow in this timeframe is in the large intestine. Waking up at this time could also mean emotional blockages. If you’d like to go back to sleep, try to stretch your muscles or use the bathroom.

The body is indeed a fascinating thing. If we learn to observe and listen to what it’s trying to tell us, we might be able to improve both the physical and spiritual aspects of our lives.
