Connective Tissue Realignment That Lasts

Thai Medical Massage is also called Thai Yoga Massage, because of the similarity of some thai massage movements to yoga postures. Indeed, many of the positions resemble a practice of yogasanas from the Patanjali Sutras, but applied passively by the practitioner towards the recipient, with a little bit of active participation.

It is a unique system of traditional medicine from Thailand.

Sharing some origins in Ayurvedic Science from before the start of Buddhist philosophy, Thai Massage expresses understanding of the 5 Elements and 3 Doshas of Ayurveda, along with a unique concept of meridian flows through the body known as Sen Lines. Lineages developed distinctly as North and South varieties, preserving and developing knowledge within some families, but mostly within buddhist monasteries. In some lineages medicinal oils are applied.

Sessions are known for their rare combination of slow and gentle touch along with very deep tissue manipulations, often lasting 2-3 hours.
