Freedom Before Adolescence Part 1

Freedom Before Adolescence Part 1

As I go on my walk my attention turns to the young people playing on the street in the neighbourhoods. I often wonder how free they feel no worries, nor cares in the world other than being free to play on their scooter and just maybe that scooter brings them to mars one day, perhaps a skateboard brings them to another country, the toy car they drive brings them on a great road trip or perhaps like Harry Potter their car fly's very high in the sky. They play with their dogs or cats and their dogs and cats protect them on the most scariest travels I watch them and it feels amazing to see how free they can be and then I observe teenagers and that is when it hits me in the thralls of pain, angst, through growth and development the road to adulthood there is much trouble because it's there where teenagers find the burden it takes to truly grow into the adult they will become for the future a head.

With fear in their eyes they navigate the current within the waves of their life, emotions are raw through growing pains. They are only learning to respond to the expectations of the society, being guided by their parents on what is expected from them, in school they learn the very stages of work from 9 am to 4 pm they learn the structure of a full days work much like their parents. They are learning with their peers trail blazing on the path of adolescence, learning who is the leader or rather I should say, the dictator in a superficial group mentality the sheer expectations it takes to be in a sheepol mind-set, dating and meeting girls, parties, drink, drugs, sex it's all these challenges that prepare us when we are teenagers how to be in this narcissistic, sociopathic, psychopathic driven society, at times we succumb to the very pressures our peers force upon us, some are afraid to reject the status quo out of fear of being rejected by them, we would be social outcasts and that is unacceptable in a teenagers and still some adults today.
