Renee G Murphy

I am a New York State Permanently Certified School Counselor from K-12. I earned my 3rd Masters of Science from Touro College, in School Administration and Supervision, where I obtained my School Building Leader Certification.

I have recently completed writing my first children’s book on intuition which will be published next month. Prior to that I’ve raised my three young children at home until they began Kindergarten. With my prior 10 yrs educational experience in Elementary School I had the proper tools to do so. I have worked as a School Counselor, Special Education Coordinator, and Middle School Coordinator at a Charter School. My knowledge and experience have given me a deep understanding of how to foster the development of a supportive educational community and school environment that encourages learning for a very diverse student population. My experience supporting students and teachers, and my ability to learn quickly and effectively, have awarded me an additional job title as Special Education Coordinator. My sincere efforts and dedication to education, has been reflected in my strong partnerships, and the increased confidence of my students, as I gave them the opportunity to succeed in their current and future academic setting.
