POEM (1) : THE EARLY YEARS

I am not a waste,
Just because I live,
In a tiny space,
And without laces,
On my favourite shoes,
Crafted with the golden hues,
Of strength to outlast struggles.

These are my EARLY YEARS,
Filled with many tears,
But they have given me,
A clearer vision of Tomorrow.

I am not trash,
Just because my suitcase,
Of Life’s choices is bite-sized,
Overflowing with worries,
Not easy to tame or ignore,
These pieces of baggage,
Will soon be discarded,
For my experiences and resilience,
Have been transformed,
Into wings of Progression.

Those were my EARLY YEARS,
Filled with many tears,
But they became the bridge,
To reach the beauty of Tomorrow.

Golden competences,
For these peculiar insights,
Innately forged from knowledge,
Accompanied by understanding,
Can blossom into a plantation,
Of architectural achievements,
And innovations with each new season.

Nurture your Skills,
Exceptional qualities,
For these peculiar insights,
Innately mixed with abilities,
Are the building blocks,
Of a new and vast empire,
Able to impact many, as well as,
Fulfil the heart’s desire in each season.

1. TITLE: REFLECTION

Would a private meeting,
With your REFLECTION,
Dreams, soul and body,
Be an embodiment,
Of encouragement,
An unforgettable,
Adventure with inspiration,
Or a reminder of disappointments?

Could you relax,
With your REFLECTION,
Essence, soul and body,
And have meaningful conversations,
About goals not yet fulfilled,
Aspects requiring improvement,
Or reject the whole experience,
To avoid remembering a sorrowful past?

Will you enjoy discovering,
The impact of your REFLECTION,
Full of Laughter, soul and body,
For it can be the catalyst,
Of immense advancement,
And useful inventions,
Or dismiss this opportunity,
To gain insights into your abilities?

2. TITLE : ZEAL

Avoid apathy,
Renowned,
For causing calamity,
Like a disgruntled lover,
By fuelling discouragement,
And immense disillusionment,
In the hearts of those,
Battered by hardships.

Embrace ZEAL
An unwavering,
Rejuvenator,
Like sea-salt,
For with insights,
And encouragement,
It exposes the lies,
Spread by apathy:

Apathy: “Don’t bother enrolling in the course for it is too difficult to understand ”.
ZEAL: “ Study hard, and you will soar higher than an eagle”.

Apathy: “Cast your goals aside because you might not succeed”.
ZEAL: “Ignore the voice of dissuasion. You can overcome adversities and difficulties with
confidence and persistence”.

Apathy,
Repels progress,
Kings reject its counsel.

ZEAL,
Attracts promotion.
Knowledge is its best companion.

Like a new life,
Mesmerize,
With opportunities,
Help to actualize,
Possibilities,
Adding more strength,
Until plans materialize,
Full of advantages.
