Clinton van der Walt

After graduating with a degree in HR management from the University of Johannesburg (UJ), Clinton joined an engineering and technology start-up owned by UJ which focused on research & development and providing workplace readiness skills for students. Clinton spent four years at the start-up and his responsibilities included onboarding & training of students, liaising with industry to place students, and general HR duties. Thereafter, he joined a company in the manufacturing industry with a staff complement of about 100 employees where he served as HR Officer. In 2017 Clinton and his wife relocated to Namibia where she took up a position of reverend at a local church in Windhoek.

Clinton has always had a passion for coaching and completing the Gallup-Certified Strengths Coaching certificate has equipped him with the skills to turn a passion into a career. His Top 5 Strengths (Restorative, Harmony, Empathy, Belief and Responsibility) are a perfect fit for a coach who wants to help others to realize their dreams.

Clinton is currently a key team member of a start-up which aims to help people in Namibia to transform their talents into Strengths.
